Everything is going according to plan: in Moscow, 65% of CT centers have resumed scheduled patient visits

Every day it is more and more joyful to live. And it’s not only the warm summer weather that has finally settled in Moscow, but also the improvement in the epidemiological situation. So another 20 outpatient clinics, on the basis of which outpatient CT centers were deployed, returned to the planned admission of patients. And that’s definitely good news!

Already 32 (that is, more than 65%) CT centers, which just a couple of months ago could only be accessed by patients with ARVI symptoms, suspected community-acquired pneumonia and coronavirus infection, have opened their doors to everyone and began to receive the first visitors.

“All buildings were thoroughly disinfected, and all employees were tested for coronavirus infection,” Told Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Social Development.

Note that 48 metropolitan CT centers during the pandemic did their best – more than 189 thousand studies were carried out for coronavirus infection, which helped doctors diagnose the disease in time and determine treatment tactics.

Currently, 16 CT centers continue to operate in Moscow, which fully cover the current needs for high-precision diagnostics and treatment of patients with suspected coronavirus infection.
