European Bathing
An attractive European swimsuit is often used in landscape design. This beautiful flower is ideally combined with other plants and can be a decoration of any flower bed, rock garden or rockery. At the same time, the culture is unpretentious and requires a little attention.

Perennial herbaceous culture is a representative of the buttercup family. In nature, the flower is quite common, and it can be found in forest glades and mountain slopes from Great Britain to the Urals. Depending on the variety, the plant reaches 20-100 cm.
European swimsuit prefers shaded areas
The bather is widely used in landscape design. It is planted on the banks of artificial reservoirs or at the foot of rock gardens.
One plant produces up to 20 peduncles. Small buds, about 4-5 cm in diameter. They have a spherical semi-closed shape. As a rule, peduncles are colored in all shades of yellow and orange. But there are varieties of bikini with bright red petals. The plant is poisonous, so you should take care of it with care.
Planting and caring for a European swimsuit
You can propagate a flower in different ways, but the easiest way is to plant a crop with seeds in open ground. Start sowing in the middle of autumn. For a swimsuit, choose a slightly shaded area with damp, but not swampy ground. The ideal soil for a flower is loam.
The bather is unpretentious, and it is not so difficult to grow it. The main thing is to adhere to the basic rules of care:
- Watering. The flower needs frequent and abundant hydration. But you should not allow stagnation of moisture at the roots.
- Top dressing. Fertilizers need to be applied at the end of May, before the flower stalks bloom. It is advisable to carry out two dressings with an interval of 2-3 weeks. It is better to introduce nitroammofosk at the rate of 1 tsp. on a bucket of water. But the culture also responds well to urea and complex fertilizers for flowering crops.
- Mulching. Such an event will help retain moisture at the roots and at the same time prevent weeds from growing near the crop. You can use peat, humus or rotten sawdust for these purposes.
- Pruning. Remove all stems after flowering. Cut the swimsuit so that 5 cm stumps remain. Such an event will not only improve the growth of the flower for the next year, but also protect it from pests and diseases.
Delicate swimsuit will adorn any flower bed and flower garden. At the same time, it is a pleasure to take care of her. And with a minimum of attention, you will achieve a long and friendly flowering from it.
