PSYchology

The real wealth of any country is its people. However, not any, but only educated, having a profession and a decent job with a decent salary. To provide an opportunity for all citizens to lead a full life, having developed a real program for overcoming the social crisis that has hit the country, is the task of the country’s leadership. Eugenics is a theory about the hereditary health of a person and ways to improve it.

The most important point in evaluating eugenics is the distinction between its negative and positive forms. The goal of negative eugenics is to stop the reproduction of those who have hereditary defects, or those who in a given society are considered physically or mentally handicapped. It was negative eugenics that was practiced in Nazi Germany, and it is for this reason that eugenics is still in the minds of many on a par with Nazi crimes. The goal of positive eugenics is to promote the reproduction of people with traits that are considered valuable to society (the absence of hereditary diseases, good physical development, sometimes high intelligence). Negative eugenics is unacceptable for us, positive eugenics can be useful.

Disputes about eugenics move into the subject plane when the real results of its social application are considered.

Lee Kuan Yew, Prime Minister of Singapore

The law of natural selection, as one of the fundamental laws of the market, has become the basis for the education of the citizens of Singapore. The concept of education, using the views of positive eugenics, was developed by the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew in 1984. Singaporean sociologists have noticed that many highly educated women do not marry or have children, and many men marry poor, uneducated Malay and Indian women. Lee Kuan Yew ordered the creation of a powerful base for the creation of normal families capable of raising and educating healthy and intelligent children.

Under government patronage, two marriage agencies were established. Their goal is marriage between couples of comparable social and intellectual level. The first agency is called the Department of Social Development, or DSO. It deals with educated young people. The second agency is the Social Development Service, or SSR. Their clientele is the rest of the youth. Both agencies work with the involvement of serious specialists: psychologists, sociologists and doctors. Here they not only select a couple for a young person, taking into account all personal characteristics, but also create conditions for meetings, including tet-a-tet. The agencies operate a network of sports gyms, cafes, swimming pools, discos and cinemas. After the marriage, the newlyweds from the state «shine» a solid gift in the form of a loan for the purchase of housing.

Uneducated women are offered sterilization after the birth of their second child in exchange for a solution to their housing problem. Intellectual women are also waiting for considerable encouragement, but if she gives birth to more than three children. Thus, Lee Kuan Yew formulated the conditions for increasing the percentage of smart people: the birth of children among educated women is welcome, while for uneducated women, on the contrary, it is limited. A system for selecting pairs of young people has been developed and is successfully operating. Results? From one of the most backward Asian countries in a couple of decades, Singapore has become a prosperous country. Now Singapore is considered one of the economic wonders of Southeast Asia, and its capital has become the New York of Asia.

Helmut Nyborg, professor at Aarhus University

“According to statistics, women with a high educational level, before having children, spend time studying and working. It is necessary to reduce the burden on smart women, and just pay for stupid ones so that they do not have children. This is an absolutely necessary measure in order to reduce the number of degenerates among the Danish population, ”wrote Helmut Nyborg, professor of psychology at Aarhus University (Denmark).

The Danish psychologist is sure that human intelligence is genetically programmed and inherited, meaning more for our failure or success in life than all social factors combined. Pointing to a high — up to 80% — correlation between the IQ of an individual and his further social success, Nyborg makes a reservation: this dependence is statistical. In other words, a particular person with a low level of intelligence can learn and achieve more in life than his more gifted peer. Nevertheless, the children of weakly intellectual parents join the class of the poor 15 times more often than the descendants of people with high cognitive ability. They drop out of school more often, and already in adulthood they massively join the ranks of declassed and criminal elements — and here, according to the professor, nothing can be done: nature …

And this means that multimillion-dollar projects aimed at creating better starting conditions for children from the underprivileged classes are meaningless, the scientist concludes, citing the failure of the American general education project Head Star as an example. In an effort to achieve social justice and reduce differences in educational levels and incomes of the population, the US administration allocates a lot of budgetary funds to pull up those who are lagging behind. However, as a result, the level of schooling is declining, and the tasks that were given to 15-year-old schoolchildren at the beginning of the last century are beyond their current peers. The problem, by the way, is well known to the Danish educational system of “folk schools”, which smooths out the differences between weak and strong students in the spirit of democratic traditions.

For democratic Europe, such a view of the scientist seems wild, he stirred up public opinion and was ostracized. However, the thoughts of Helmut Nyborg are shared by some scientists, emphasizing the relevance of the topic and the possibility of implementing a program to improve the composition of society, increase the percentage of more intellectually developed people with the help of biotechnology. While Europe is arguing, Singapore has long and successfully pursued a program of positive eugenics.

And what about in Russia? The Russian authorities are trying to stimulate reproduction with the help of maternity capital, but this method leads to the birth of children in alcoholic women, in the poor and uneducated segments of the population. The worst are born and nurtured, that is, eugenics is the other way around.
