PSYchology

Each of us during the day in different situations can manifest himself as a Creator and as a Romantic and as a Consumer. It seems to me that it is reasonable to connect and build the ethical typology of personality on the basis of three main circles of life values.

There is an assumption that one and the same person can, for example, in personal relationships act mainly as a Consumer, while in work he is more often a Creator. Either in work he is a Romantic, and in family life he is a Parasite, while in personal development he is a productive Creator, the author of some useful book.

Since customer requests, as a rule, belong to just one of the three circles of values, I would also divide the method of identifying the ethical type (ethicotype) into three blocks of questions: how do you behave in relationships, at work, in terms of your development. Since life is varied and unpredictable, I would use open-ended questions followed by a qualitative analysis.

Examples of relational questions:

1. How is the organization of holidays in your family, what is your role?

2. How is shopping going, what is your role?

3. What family traditions do you have, who invented them?

4. How do you relax?

5. If there are quarrels, what is their typical scenario?

Examples of «working» questions:

1. Do you think the people at your job are fair in their positions?

2. What is more important for you — to enjoy your work or to receive a decent salary?

3. How passionate are you about your work?

4. Do you want to be the best employee? What are you ready to do for this?

5. How often do you get ideas to improve your work?

Examples of «growth» questions:

1. What goals do you want to achieve?

2. Why do you need this?

3. What do you see as your purpose?

4. When do you feel your self-realization most fully?

5. What psychological skills are most important to you?

After the client has answered the questions, and the consultant has recorded the results, we apply to the coordinates “Care: about yourself, about others; at your own expense — at someone else’s expense. At the same time, you can talk aloud with the client.

And everything becomes clear.
