PSYchology

Ethical ways of life are ways of life that have in mind ethics, ethical relations with other people and life in general.

Attitude towards other people

The first important point of the ethical way of life is the relation of a person to other people.

“… The first of the first conditions of human life is another person. Relationship to another person, to people is the basic fabric of human life, its core. The “heart” of a person is all woven from his human relations with other people; what he is worth is entirely determined by the kind of human relations a person aspires to, what kind of relations he is able to establish with people, with another person. The psychological analysis of life, aimed at revealing the relationship of a person to other people, is the core of true psychology. Here, at the same time, is the area of the «junction» of psychology with ethics «- u.e.shtein S.L. Being and consciousness. M., 1957, pp. 262-263.

The second main point of the ethical way of life is the relationship of a person to life in general.

Ethical Ways of Living and Attitudes of Perception

The notion of perceptual positions is closely related to ethical ways of life. A person to a zero position is out of ethics, he acts automatically, thinking, according to a template. Starting from the first position, a person can make one or another ethical choice, but only in the fifth position — the position of the Angel — does a person naturally live as an ethical person. The development of positions of perception — from the first to the fourth — determines the effectiveness of his actions as an ethical person.

Ethical Ways of Life and Ethical Typology of Personality

In accordance with the ethical typology of personality proposed by N.I. Kozlov, according to the ethical way of life, people are divided into four categories: Creators, Consumers, Romantics and Parasites. See Ethical personality typology: ethicotypes

Ethical Ways of Life, together with Attitudes of Perception, is the main way of practical ethics practiced in Sinton.

Ethical typology in practice

A man named A believes that he is an absolute creator and backs up his opinion with many facts of their lives. He really took the initiative and took care of others, «dragged» the team behind him to achieve goals. But the team saw consumer behavior in actions A, because they believed that all his actions were aimed at satisfying their own needs (getting a personal bonus). See →
