ACTION
A compound of silicon that reduces the surface tension at the border of the liquid and gas phases in the gastrointestinal tract
INDICATIONS AND DOSAGE
Conditions of excessive accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract. Orally; take the medicine with or after a meal, until the symptoms subside. Babies> 1. m 40 mg / d in 2-4 doses division Children 1st – 6th 40 mg 3–5 times / day. Children 6-14. years 40–80 mg 3-5 times / day. Adults and children> 14. age 80 mg 3-5 times / day.
Preparation for diagnostic tests in the abdominal cavity. 80 mg 3 × / d on the day preceding the test and 40 mg in the morning of the test.
Additive to the contrast agent suspension. 160–320 mg per 1 l of contrast medium for double contrast test.
Poisoning with surfactants. Adults. 400-800 mg. Kids. 100-400 mg.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not use in children in the 1st month of life.
WARNINGS
The preparation does not contain sugar and can be used by diabetics. Do not drink carbonated drinks while using the drug. There are no data on the safety of the preparation in pregnant women and during breastfeeding.
INTERACTIONS
There are no known drug interactions.
SIDE EFFECTS
No reports of side effects. In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions to the substances contained in the preparation may occur.
