Production features

Abkhazian wines are traditionally divided into “female” and “male”, although such a distinction is very conditional.

It is believed that “ladies” drinks have a soft, delicate, refined taste, while alcohol for the strong half of humanity is more tart and rich.

Escher’s red semi-dry wine belongs to the first category: because of its light berry “character”, it is very fond of women.

The drink got its name in honor of the local region, where cheerful, hospitable people live, who have long been engaged in winemaking.

Table wine has been produced since 2002 from a mixture of red varieties. Isabella dominates the blend.

The Sukhumi winery, where wine is made, is equipped with modern Italian and French equipment.

At the same time, local winemakers do not forget about old traditions and try to follow them in the production process.

To store drinks, modern enameled containers are used, and the best vintage wines are aged in oak barrels.

Ready-made drinks are poured into glass bottles of Czech production and sealed with a real Portuguese cork.
