Boiler “Immergaz” out of order? Is the job blocked and the display shows errors? Don’t worry, this is how the security system reports a problem. What to do? Look at the instructions and find out the designation of the code. If the instruction is lost or you do not understand the technical language, then refer to our publication. We have described the errors of Immergaz boilers in an accessible way.
The Italian manufacturer of heating equipment “Immergaz” is focused on all segments of the population. From a wide range, you can choose Economy class models or high-tech devices at a high price.
The equipment is adapted for operation with unstable pressure in the gas line – up to 3 mbar. The design is equipped with the following components and parts:
The range includes conventional convection models as well as condensing ones. The latter are distinguished by an increased efficiency of more than 100%. By design, there are single-circuit and double-circuit units. Combustion chambers – open and closed type.
Technology is not immune to breakdowns. If you saw an error code, you can find its meaning and solutions in the table below. First of all, it is recommended to restart the boiler in order to exclude a system failure. If the symbols light up again, proceed with the repair.
- Thermostat;
- Flame sensor, ionization, their contacts and location;
- Replace defective parts.
03 A signal has been received from the flue gas evacuation sensor. View:
- Fan, its motor. To do this, dismantle the housing of the device. Make sure the fan wiring is intact. Clean the blades of soot and dust;
- Look into the chimney hole. Clean the mine from your side and from the street.
04 Electromechanical contacts are under high resistance. Check that the safety thermostat and pressure sensor are working properly. Close the contacts of both elements. If this does not work, contact the service center to diagnose the electronic board. 05 The NTC temperature sensor in the heating circuit does not function. Checking the sensor, wiring, tightening contacts. 06 Hot water NTC thermistor has failed. 08 Unlock key defective. Inspect the contacts of the key with the board. Replace part. 09 Setting mode activated. Cancel the mode if it is not needed. 10 The pressure in the circuit has dropped to less than 0,9 bar. How to fix the problem:
- Inspect the circuit, all connections and components for leaks. If found, seal the area;
- Turn on the make-up, adjust the speed of the pump. Wait until the pressure gauge reaches 1,3.
Error 11 The smoke pressure sensor has tripped.
The wall-mounted gas boiler can block if there is insufficient draft. After that, a restart is automatically enabled. After three shutdowns, a code is issued and the red indicator lights up.
Make sure you have traction. If it is not there, clean the chimney shaft. Its arrangement must be carried out strictly according to the standards.
15 Wrong configuration (relevant for Eolo Star / Mini models). Contact the service center. 16 The fan does not turn on. Broken chain. Fan Diagnostics. Circuit repair, contact tightening, reconnection. 20 Flame problems.
The code indicates a parasitic flame. Make sure there is no gas leak. If there is an odor in the room, turn off the valves and call the gas service.
The control module is being tested.
27 The circulation of the coolant is disturbed, as a result the device overheats. Examination:
- Cranes. Open them all the way;
- Airing the system. Release excess air;
- circulation pump. Unblock its work, clean the impeller from contamination;
- Filters. Clean them of dirt. For rust deposits, soak the filters in a solution of citric acid;
- Heat exchanger. Remove scale accumulations in its tubes. To avoid plaque, set a low temperature and water filters.
28 Leak in the DHW circuit. Simultaneous increase in temperature in the heating and hot water supply system. How to proceed:
- Make sure that the mixer taps are in good condition;
- Check for leaks in pipes and connections.
31 The electronic board is not compatible with the boiler. The model name may have been entered incorrectly. 37 Voltage surges in the network. Drop to 197-175 V. Connect voltage regulator. Faults Immergas Eolo Mythos E00 Operation stopped. There is no flame in the burner. Inspect the flame electrode and control board and their wiring. Install new elements if defective. E02 No ignition.
- Open the fuel supply valve;
- See if the gas valve opens;
- Diagnostics of the module, its connections.
E04 The boiler is blocked for a long time. Checking all nodes and parts. E12 Thermostat signal for overheating. Diagnostics:
- thermostat contacts;
- Fuse on the electronic module.
E18 Flow temperature too high.
- Turn on the power supply;
- Inspect the pump for serviceability.
E19 High degree of heating on the return line. E28 / E29 The fan or Hall sensor has failed. Make sure it’s correct:
- Fan and its connections;
- F3 fuse;
- main module.
E31 / E36 Short circuit (short circuit) or sensor break in the supply line. Temperature sensor replacement. E32 / E37 Sensor short circuit or open circuit on the return line. E65 The fan does not draw air well. Replace the assembly motor if reduced performance (less than 900 rpm) is observed.
As soon as you eliminate the cause of the malfunction, the board will automatically resume operation and heating.
Another common malfunction is a yellow uneven flame. In this case, the burner should be cleaned of soot and dust. Also remove dirt from the chimney shaft – it breaks the draft.
Not all models are equipped with a display. Some issue a breakdown code by glowing indicators. For example, Immerse Nike Star / Mini.
If you are unable to fix the breakdown yourself and the symbols are repeatedly displayed on the screen, it is better to call the wizard.
