Most often, when a dishwasher malfunctions, it issues an error code. The control board controls the operation of the nodes, therefore, as soon as one of them fails, fault icons are displayed on the display.
The meaning and causes of the error
Code E 25 informs the user that there is a blockage in the dishwasher system. Literally, the decoding sounds like this: problems with the drainage pump or blockage of the drain pipe.
Each dishwasher comes with instructions that indicate the exact meaning of all faults of this model.
The problem with the pump may be due to the blocking of the impeller, which is caused by foreign objects that have fallen into the drain during washing:
- bones;
- peel from fruits, vegetables;
- pieces of napkins;
- toothpicks;
- broken dishes.
Even if you carefully clean the plates of food residues, the filter could be clogged with grease. When the dishwasher is not cleaned properly, grease from the appliances accumulates in the drain system. As a result, it clogs the drainage filter, hoses, pipes.

How to restore the work of PMM Bosch
Before proceeding with the repair, rule out a system failure. In this case, the technique erroneously displays an error on the screen. To reset the icons, do this:
- disconnect PMM from the network;
- wait 10-15 minutes;
- restart.
If the code is displayed again, then it is a malfunction. What do we have to do? The first step is to disconnect the machine from communications, shut off the water supply. Then:
- Disconnect the drain hose from the PMM body and lower it into a container to drain the remaining water from the hopper.
- Remove excess foam in the chamber with a sponge.
- Pull out the lower basket for dishes.
- Having gained access to the drain filter, unscrew it, as well as the metal mesh that is located behind it.
- Rinse the filter under pressure from a faucet. The mesh can be cleaned with an old toothbrush using detergent gel.
- Immediately behind the filter is a drain pump.
- Unscrew the fixing screws, pull the damper to the side and up.
- After removing the pump cover, check the impeller.
- To do this, put on gloves and remove foreign objects.
If it was not possible to correct the situation, then you need to clean the drain hose and pipe, which are attached to the circulation pump.
- Remove all baskets from the hopper.
- Unscrew the five screws in the pan. They secure the pump assembly.
- Turn the PMM over to the back wall.
- Remove the bottom cover by unscrewing the screws around the perimeter.
- There is a circulation block in front of you.
- Disconnect the end of the hose from the assembly. Rinse it with water, you can use a small brush to clean it.
- Do the same with the pipe. It can be additionally fastened with clamps. If they are plastic, you will have to cut them off and install new ones. If metal, then it is enough to loosen the fasteners.
