Error codes washing machines Kaiser (Kaiser) – what to do

If your Kaiser washing machine is equipped with an electronic display, it will warn you of the slightest malfunctions in the systems. Knowing what this or that error code means, you can quickly take the necessary actions without calling the wizard.

We have collected Kaiser error codes in tables so that you have all the information about the meaning of the code, the reasons for its appearance, and recommendations on how to fix the breakdown.

Error table for machines with LOGIC CONTROL system

SMAs equipped with the LOGIC CONTROL system, and these are models with the TE prefix (for example, W40TlTe), provide for an LCD display in the design. Errors are displayed in EXX format, where XX is a digital combination.

CombinationCauseAs manifestedWhat to check first
E01There is no signal from the limit switch of the locking mechanism that the hatch is closed. After 15 seconds, the combination E01 lights up, washing stops.Check:
  1. Is the CM hatch closed?
  2. The integrity of the locking mechanism.
E02The tank fills with water for more than 120 seconds. The “ENDE” light blinks, the wash continues. At the end of the wash cycle, the system issues an error E02.
  1. Perhaps the pressure in the water pipes is reduced.
  2. Blockage of elements of the water inlet system (intake valve, hose).
E03Water from the tank is drained longer than the allowed 90 seconds. The “ENDE” lamp blinks, the washing is continuous. After the water has drained, the spin cycle takes place at a speed of no more than 400 revolutions per 1 minute. After the end of the washing cycle, the machine shows the code E03 on the display.Blockage in the drain system.
E04 The pressure switch gave a signal about the overflow of water.

Washing ends in advance, the drain pump starts, and the display shows error E04. After the sensor sends a signal about an empty tank, after 90 seconds the drain pump stops working.

If water is poured into the tank again after the code appears on the display, the pump will start again.

You can understand how to fix the breakdown, based on the reasons for the failure:
  1. The water intake valves are blocked in the “ON” position.
  2. When washing in the water supply system, the pressure increased.
  3. Pressure switch failure.
  4. Breakdown of the control unit.
E05 After 10 minutes from the moment the water was started, the pressure switch did not give a signal that the nominal level had been reached. The washing machine interrupts the wash cycle and issues the code E05.Resetting errors depends on the cause:
  1. There is no water in the plumbing or the pressure is not high enough for washing.
  2. The valve responsible for the water supply has failed.
  3. Broken pressure switch.
  4. Malfunction of the control module.
  5. Malfunction in the Aqua Spray system.
E06After 10 minutes of operation of the pump, the pressure switch did not signal that the tank was already empty. The wash cycle ends prematurely and the code E06 is on.If the display shows E06, then:
  1. Drain pump broken.
  2. Broken pressure switch.
  3. The drain system is clogged.
  4. The reset valve is blocked in the “ON” position.
E07Leak inside the case – on the pallet.Failure in the washing mode, the code E07 is on the display. The drain pump starts and stops 90 seconds later after the pressure switch sends an empty tank signal. The cause of the breakdown may be:
  1. Float sensor failure.
  2. Tank depressurization.
  3. Violation of the integrity of hoses and pipes, and so on.
E08In the power supply network, the parameters have exceeded the permissible limits of 190-235V, the frequency is 50/60 Hz.Fault code E08 appears both when the washing machine is connected to the network, and later – when washing. The power failure needs to be corrected. Contact an electrician.
E11Breakage of the sunroof lock relay.Having given a command to block, the system issues the code E11, stopping the washing cycle.Probably the control module has failed.
E21The signal from the tachogenerator, which reports the rotation of the electric motor, is not fixed.Washing ends early, the display shows error E21.Probably:
  1. Broken electric motor.
  2. The tachogenerator has failed.
  3. The motor thermal switch has opened.
  4. The contacts of the electric motor are broken.
E22The motor starts to rotate without command.Early termination of the washing mode, displaying the code E22.In this case, there is:
  1. Breakdown of the control unit.
  2. Unbalance of laundry in the drum.
E31Closed thermostat.Washing continues, and after its completion, the code E31 or E32 lights up.The failure lies in the thermistor (t ° sensor).
E32Thermal sensor contacts broken. The temperature sensor contacts and wiring require maintenance.
E42The door does not open after the end of washing for more than 2 minutes. The combination E42 is lit on the display. The failure could be caused by a broken control module.

Codes for CM with PB ECOTRONIC system

If you have a Kaiser W43.10 or W59.10 washing machine, then on the control panel of your CMA there are LEDs that report the selected water temperature in the tank:

  • 95°C (T95).
  • 60°C (T60).
  • 40°C (T40).
  • 30°C (T30).
  • “Heating ON” (T0).

The errors that occur in these models are easy to read from a combination of indicators. If the machine is working, then only 1 light is on, if 2 – there is a problem in the system, you need to remove the error.

If you notice other combinations of indicators that are not in the table below, do not puzzle over what this blinking means – all other combinations indicate a breakdown of the electronic module.

light bulb combinationCauseAs manifestedWhat to check first
T95 + T60There is no signal that the hatch is closed. After 15 seconds, the T90 and T60 lights turn on, the wash stops ahead of schedule. The solution to the problem is to eliminate the following causes:
  1. Open hatch door.
  2. Violation of the integrity and serviceability of the blocker or the entire locking mechanism.
T60 + T40Blocker triac broken. After 2 seconds, the T60 and T40 lights turn on, the wash cycle stops prematurely. Most likely the electronic control module is broken.
T95 + T0It took more than 120 seconds to fill the SMA tank.

When washing, the “Gotowa” light comes on, but the program does not end.

Indicators T95 and T0 are lit.

Perhaps the following reasons caused the error:
  1. Insufficiently high water pressure in the pipes.
  2. Clogging of the filling hose.
  3. Solenoid valve blockage.
T95 + T60 + T0After ten minutes of filling the tank with water, there is no signal from the pressure switch to fill the tank.Washing stops ahead of time, the lights T95, T60 and T0 light up.
T95 + T30Water drains for more than 90 seconds.

When washing, the “Gotowa” light blinks, washing continues. Spinning occurs at a speed not exceeding 400 rpm.

After the end of the wash cycle, two bulbs light up: T95 and T30.

The reason should be sought in the drain system. Perhaps the drain system is clogged.

Both the hose and the filter need to be checked.

T95 + T60 + T30After ten minutes of operation of the drain pump, the pressure switch does not signal an empty tank.Washing ends ahead of schedule, indicators T95, T60 and T30 light up.Probably:
  1. Drain pump broken.
  2. Malfunction of the pressure switch.
  3. Clogged hose or drain filter.
  4. The reset valve is locked in the on position.
T95 + T40There is a signal from the overflow from the pressure switch.

The wash stops, the pump starts and the T95 and T40 lamps light up.

After the sensor sends a signal that the tank is empty, after 90 seconds the drain pump stops. If after that water is again filled into the tank, the pump will turn on again.

Causes of failure:
  1. Valve not closed.
  2. When washing, the pressure in the water pipes jumped.
  3. Broken pressure switch.
  4. Washing started without water inflow, but it was poured into the tub during washing.
  5. Broken control unit.
T40 + T30Closed thermistor.Washing continues, indicators T40 and T30 are on.Broken thermostat.
T30 + T0The thermistor circuit has broken.Washing does not stop, at the end the T30 and T0 lamps turn on.Most likely, the wiring leading to the temperature sensor has broken.
T60 + T30The tachogenerator does not report that the motor is rotating. The wash ends ahead of schedule, the T60 and T30 lights turn on.The reasons:
  1. Electric motor damage.
  2. Breakdown of the tachogenerator.
  3. The engine thermal switch has opened.
  4. The integrity of the motor wiring is broken.
T95 + T30 + T0The voltage in the network is too high – above 253V.All temperature lamps, except for T60, can light up both during washing and before it – immediately when the CMA is connected to the network.Power failure, call an electrician.
T60 + T0Without a command to start, the engine starts to rotate.Washing is completed ahead of schedule, the diode lamps T60 and T0 turn on.Probably something like this happened:
  1. The control board is broken (the triac of the motor is closed).
  2. Out of balance linen.
T95 + T60 + T40A water leak has started in the SMA pan.

Washing stops, all temperature indicators light up, except T30.

The drain pump starts and turns off after 90 seconds after the pressure switch signals an empty tank.

  1. Float sensor failure.
  2. Tank depressurization.
  3. Violation of the integrity of hoses and pipes.
T40 + T30 + T0The hatch is closed for more than 2 minutes after the end of the washing program. The temperature indicators T40 and T30 and the T0 light are on, the door does not open for more than 120 seconds. In this case, we can talk about both a breakdown of the blocker and a failure of the control module.

The fault codes listed in the tables will help you figure out what this or that code or combination of bulbs means, and what to do to avoid serious damage.

The Kaiser brand washing machine will last for a long time, if you do not ignore the errors, fix them in time on your own or with the help of a specialist.
