How to solve the problem with the operation of the boiler without calling the master? Look out for signs of a problem. Sometimes non-obvious breakdowns are displayed as errors of the Thermona boilers. This triggers a self-diagnosis system that includes control sensors. By finding out the meaning of the error code, you can quickly find and eliminate the cause.
Features and arrangement of boilers

Other malfunctions of the Termona boilers
In addition to the error code on the display, you may notice other problems.
The device is noisy when turned on.
Check flame adjustment. You may need to lower the gas pressure. Dismantle the boiler body and look into the heat exchanger. If the equipment is constantly operated at a temperature of more than 55 degrees, scale quickly settles on the parts. Pumping with a reagent will help remove deposits, after which the assembly is washed with clean water.
Install water filters to prevent salt deposits. They purify the liquid from magnesium and potassium salts.
When ignited, pops are heard
The first reason is the poor quality of the gas, which contains a lot of air. Also, excess air can come from the chimney, so adjust the damper.
If the flame flares up when ignited, clean the burner of soot and soot accumulations. Clean the electrode from corrosion using fine-grained sandpaper. Sometimes the part is displaced when heated, normally the electrode should be located at a distance of 3 mm from the flame. Inspect its wiring and the tightness of the connection to the control module. Reduce flame level.
Almost all breakdowns associated with electronics can indicate a malfunction of the electronic board. If you have checked all possible options, then check the board last. It is better to entrust the repair of the part to a specialist.
DHW heating not working
Check that the three-way valve is working properly. Perhaps it got stuck. It is required to lubricate its parts or put a new valve.
Check the state of the art:
- Connect and install according to the instructions.
- To connect to the gas pipeline, invite a specialist.
- Remove dust, soot, dirt and scale from the heat exchanger, ignition units, chimney system, pipes, ventilation.
- Follow the readings of the sensors, pressure gauge. With any failure, it is better to eliminate its cause initially than to wait for a serious breakdown.
