Error codes and malfunctions of the gas boiler Gazlux

Gazlux gas boiler error codes help to determine the cause of the problem. In some models, they are displayed on the display, in others, the blinking indicators become a signal. Problems can be caused by both external factors and internal breakdowns. How to find and fix the problem? Our recommendations will help you.

Construction and operation of boilers

Gas equipment “Gazlux” was developed in Russia, but the assembly is carried out in China. These are double-circuit devices that are designed for hot water supply (DHW) and space heating. They are produced in three series:

  • Economy (Economy). Features and functionality of boilers can be determined by name. For example, Economy B-18-C1 belongs to the economy class, has an atmospheric chamber, its power is 18 kW. Mechanical control, rotation indicators are located on the panel. Errors are signaled by flashing indicators.
  • Standard (Standard). The decoding of the model name Standard B-24-T1 looks like this: standard series, closed chamber. Combustion products are forced out. Power 24 kW. The presence of the letter F indicates the additional function “Anti-freeze”. You can set the modes using the button control. The progress of work is tracked on the LCD display.
  • Premium (Premium). There is a possibility of programming, modern functionality, a color LCD screen. Faults are shown as symbols on the display.

Any Gazlux equipment has a bithermic heat exchanger, magnetic scale protection. The mainbody”, which controls all the processes of the device, is the electronic board. It includes a self-diagnosis system, due to which a fault code is displayed on the screen.

Common Problems and Errors

The code may appear in such cases:

  • The flame in the burner went out;
  • Combustion products are not removed, they enter the room;
  • The equipment is overheating;
  • The pressure in the system drops.

The causes of problems can be both external and internal. For example, the lack of ventilation affects the quality of the flame, low pressure in the line affects the circulation of water. In critical situations, the operation of the equipment will be blocked until you fix the breakdown.

Errors for the series “Standard and Economy 

The blinking of the LEDs becomes a signal of malfunctions. Pay attention to diode #5.

E1 (E01)

The first upper power light is constantly on, the lower diode blinks red once per second. The thermostat or exhaust gas sensor has tripped. The fan pressure is not correct. The smoke is badly removed.

  • Fan defective. Replace part;
  • Inspect the chimney and pipes for blockages. Clean them from soot and debris, restore traction;
  • The outer part of the chimney is frozen, the ice is blocking the flow of air. Clear the mine from frost;
  • Check the wiring and tubes of the pressure sensor for damage.

Error E2

The second power light on top is lit, the bottom indicator is red. The temperature sensor on the supply line is broken.

  • Carry out sensor diagnostics;
  • Measure resistance. Normally, the results should not deviate from 10 kOhm. In other cases, a replacement part is required.

E3 (E03)

The third diode from the top glows. The lower indicator is red. The DHW thermostat has failed. It is necessary to carry out a similar operation as with E2.

Error E4 (E04)

The red light and the 4th indicator at the top are constantly on. Overheating of the system up to 95 degrees. The thermostat has tripped. The reason lies in poor water circulation. What caused the problem:

  • The circulation pump has failed. Repair or installation of a new element;
  • Air has accumulated in the system. Release the excess;
  • The flow of water is obstructed by debris, a foreign object. Clear the blockage.

E6

The first and fifth diodes from above are lit. The red light is on at the bottom. The flame is not recognized after ignition. Operation is blocked by the ionization sensor. Possible causes and what to do:

  • Fuel supply problems. Open the gas valve, wait for the restoration of supply. Inspect the burner, nozzles, filters for clogging. Make sure the supply valve is working;
  • The ignition system has failed. Carry out repairs;
  • Broken flame electrode. Clean the parts, replace the electrode.

Е7 (Eb)

The second and fifth indicators are on at the top and the red diode at the bottom. Flame control error.

  • The ionization electrode is shorted. Install the correct element;
  • The control module is faulty. It is better to contact the master.

If the lower lamp is red and the power indicators flash alternately, then the presence of a flame is detected when the fuel valve is closed. Need valve or main board diagnostics.

EP

At the bottom, the diodes flash red and green. A problem is indicated by an audible signal. Reduced pressure in the system. Held:

  • Pressure sensor replacement;
  • Make-up to increase pressure;
  • System cleaning, air removal;
  • Installation of a working circulation pump.

Sometimes the system signals the state of the boiler:

  • The lower diode flashes green four times, the upper ones are lit – the Anti-freeze mode is on;
  • Once every three seconds, the bottom diode glows green, the lights on top are on. Pump overrun enabled, burner not started.

To restart the equipment and reset the error, press ON / OFF – RESET. If nothing has changed, power off the device. If the code does not disappear, it is better to contact the service center.
