Combined preparation with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties

Temporarily in headaches and other pain of mild or moderate intensity. Adults and children after 12 years of age Use orally 1-2 tablets. up to 3 × / d; best served after a meal, with plenty of water.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, gastric or duodenal ulcer disease, hemorrhagic diathesis, blood coagulation disorders, bronchial asthma with nasal polyps caused or exacerbated by acetylsalicylic acid, severe liver or kidney failure, pregnancy, period breastfeeding. Do not use in children up to 12 years of age in the course of flu and chicken pox and other feverish diseases.
WARNINGS
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 days, please contact your doctor. The preparation should not be taken for more than 3 days due to the risk of addiction. Take particular care in the case of allergies, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), history of gastric or duodenal ulcer disease or history of gastrointestinal bleeding, renal or hepatic dysfunction, concomitant use of anticoagulants, vaginal haemorrhages, excessive menstrual bleeding , use of an intrauterine contraceptive device, hypertension, heart failure, anemia, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, psychomotor agitation or insomnia, use with methotrexate in doses lower than 15 mg / week, due to the increased toxicity of methotrexate on the bone marrow. Concomitant use with methotrexate in doses greater than 15 mg / week is contraindicated. Do not use in people receiving oral antidiabetic drugs from the sulphonylurea group (risk of increased hypoglycaemic effect [lowering blood glucose]) and if the patient is taking anti-gout drugs. The drug should be discontinued 5–7 days before the planned surgery, due to the risk of prolonged bleeding time both during and after surgery. Alcohol should not be consumed during treatment due to the increased risk of damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa. People who drink large amounts of coffee should use the preparation with caution due to the caffeine content in it. This drug belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that may impair female fertility. This is a temporary effect and will disappear once treatment is stopped. The use of acetylsalicylic acid in children up to 12 years of age with varicella or flu infections may cause Reye’s syndrome, a rare disease that causes damage to the liver and brain.
INTERACTIONS
The preparation may enhance the hypoglycaemic effect of insulin (lowering blood glucose levels) and antidiabetic drugs from the sulfonylurea group; anticoagulants (heparin, coumarin derivatives), thus increasing the risk of bleeding; methotrexate, as acetylsalicylic acid increases its toxic effect on the bone marrow. The drug reduces the effect of spironolactone. It may also reduce the effect of other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. indomethacin) and drugs that excrete uric acid from the body. The preparation shortens the duration of action of sulfonamides. Muscle relaxants support the analgesic effect of acetylsalicylic acid. Simultaneous administration of sodium bicarbonate significantly accelerates the excretion of salicylates. Acetylsalicylic acid may increase the side effects of valproic acid, vancomycin, digoxin, other non-steroidal anticoagulants, corticosteroids. Alcohol increases the frequency and severity of gastrointestinal bleeding. You should not drink alcohol during treatment. Sympathomimetic drugs and thyroid hormones increase tachycardia. Oral contraceptives, cimetidine and disulfiram, slow down, and barbiturates accelerate caffeine catabolism. Centrally acting sympathomimetics increase the risk of caffeine addiction. Caffeine delays the elimination of theophylline. Concomitant use of the preparation with fluoroquinolone derivatives (e.g. ciprofloxacin) may cause caffeine accumulation.
SIDE EFFECTS
The following may occur: nausea, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain, dizziness and headache, sweating, insomnia, inability to focus, muscle tremors, arrhythmias, irritability, gastrointestinal bleeding, decreased blood clotting, damage and irritation of the mucosa stomach ulcer, perforation, acute liver failure, nephropathy, tinnitus (usually as a symptom of overdose), hearing impairment, proteinuria, thrombocytopenia (reduction in blood platelets), haemolytic anemia in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, asthma . Possible hypersensitivity reactions: rash, hives, angioedema (swelling of the face, tongue and trachea causing difficulty in breathing), bronchospasm. In the event of such occurrence, please inform your doctor immediately. Very rarely, the use of acetylsalicylic acid in children under 12 years of age for viral infections may cause Reye’s syndrome, a disease that causes damage to the liver and brain.
