Epin extra is an artificially created analogue of a natural plant growth stimulator, which has a pronounced anti-stress effect. Thanks to the special components contained in the product, seedlings, seeds and adult plants have a protective immunity from the negative effects of the environment. When treating seedlings, seeds or adult plants with a substance with epin or zircon, you protect them from temperature changes, dry periods, sudden morning and night frosts, heavy rains, etc. The yield and ripening rate of fruits treated with epin extra is an order of magnitude higher, than untreated plants. Fertilizer can be used both during the growing season of the plant and for soaking the seeds.
For the first time, a drug called “Epin” was released more than ten years ago, however, due to the massive flow of fakes, in 2003 it was discontinued. A little later, he was replaced by a more advanced Epin extra. Processing of seed material promotes accelerated germination of seeds, bulbs and tubers of crops. Epin, as zircon, can also be used in the process of rooting cuttings and seedlings in the open field. Fertilizer favorably affects the development of the root system, and also accelerates the ripening of fruits for several weeks.
One of the main merits of epin, however, like zircon, is the protective properties of the treated culture from the negative effects of the environment. Unfortunately, it is impossible for a person to predict when the drought will end or the heavy rains will stop, and the use of a stimulant will greatly increase the culture’s resistance to negative factors. Zircon, like epin, when used correctly, can reduce the content of nitrates and pesticides in ripe fruits. As you can see, the work of the stimulant is really noticeable, while the spectrum of its action is directed entirely to the development of a healthy plant.
Application
Despite the fact that the fertilizer Epin and zircon have a beneficial effect on plants, the stimulant must be used carefully and according to the instructions. Processing of seeds and plants during the growing season should be carried out only with gloves and a mask. After work, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and rinse your mouth. Store the drug epin, like zircon, should be in a cool dark place, avoid contact with food, children and animals. The use of fertilizer does not harm seedlings, bees and fish, does not pollute ground and surface water, and also reduces the level of nitrates in fruits.
The release form of the stimulant is a 0,25 mg ampoule, i.e., approximately 40 drops. After contact with water, the drug is fully usable within 24 hours, however, if possible, it is better to use the prepared substance immediately. As a standard, one ampoule of stimulant for spraying is used for 5 liters of water.
Soak seeds, tubers and bulbs of fruit crops as follows:
- Vegetable crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and eggplants). Seeds are soaked for 18-20 hours in water of 20 degrees (100 ml of water – 1-2 drops of epin).
- Flowers – 18-20 hours in water per 100 ml 4 drops of stimulant.
- Bulbs – 24 hours (for 2 liters of water 1 ml of Epin extra).
- Cuttings – 12 hours (for 2 liters of liquid 1 ml of fertilizer).
- Potato tubers must be sprayed before planting with a mixture of water and fertilizer (for 50 kg of potatoes, 250 ml of water and 1 mg of the product).
The method of applying fertilizer for each crop has its own phase:
- potatoes and tomatoes – the beginning of flowering or the phase of bud formation;
- root crops – as soon as the first shoots appear;
- cucumbers – with the appearance of 2-3 leaves, followed by repetition during the period of bud appearance;
- pepper – the phase of budding and flowering;
- bulbous flowers – when buds appear;
- fruit and berry crops are processed during the appearance of buds and the procedure is repeated after 20 days;
- in a “stressful” situation (drought, showers or frosts), the crop should be sprayed every 10 days until the plant is completely healed.

How to spray plants
Spraying the plant during the growing season is carried out with the following composition: 5 ml of the Epin stimulant is dissolved in 1 liters of water and mixed thoroughly. Before the procedure, it is desirable to remove damaged and dry leaves, branches and shoots. It is necessary to spray with zircon and epin in the morning or late evening, when the daylight is dim. When spraying with zircon, it is important to evenly moisten all the leaves of the plant. It is better to use the finished product immediately. The processing period of the plant must comply with the instructions.
