Entitis is a combined preparation, a dietary supplement for special medical purposes. It is available in the form of lozenges. The preparation includes a probiotic strain of streptococci – Streptococcus salivarius K12, which prevents recurrent infections of the nose, throat and ear in children and adults.

In the composition of the drug Entitis, except for the streptococcal strain Streptococcus salivaris K12 is located:
- fructose;
- maltodextrin;
- silicon dioxide;
- magnesium salts of fatty acids;
- aroma;
- vitamin D (cholecalciferol).

This leaflet contains important information for the patient. It indicates, among others situations in which this preparation should be used. This dietary food for special purposes is used in children over 3 years of age and adults in such cases as:
- prophylaxis of recurrent ear, throat and nose infections,
- viral infections of the nose and / or throat,
- previous angina.
Entitis – dosage
Children over 3 years of age and adults should take one Entitis lozenge a day at bedtime, right after brushing their teeth. The medicine should be sucked for about five minutes until it is completely dissolved. The recommended doses adapted to the disease are as follows:
- 1 lozenge a day for three months – with recurrent ear, throat or nose infections;
- 1 lozenge a day for fourteen days – in case of a viral infection of the nose or throat;
- 1 lozenge a day for three months – after treatment of strep throat.
If you are recommended to take two lozenges a day, then you need to take 1 lozenge in the morning – after breakfast and brushing your teeth, and the second – in the evening, before going to bed and brushing your teeth.
After using Entitis, you must not consume food or liquids directly. The lozenges cannot be chewed or swallowed. Antibacterial preparations cannot be used simultaneously.
