The active substances of Engystol are: incetoxicum hirundinaria D6, vincetoxicum hirundinaria D10, vincetoxicum hirundinaria D30, sulfur D4 and sulfur D10 37. The auxiliary substances of this preparation are magnesium stearate and lactose. Engystol works by blocking the multiplication of the most common viruses that cause infection. The active substances of Engystol inhibit the multiplication of influenza A, parainfluenza, upper respiratory tract infections, colds and cold sores. The use of Engystol during an infection reduces inflammation and stimulates the body’s defense mechanisms.
Engystol – indications and contraindications
Engystol is a drug that is used as an aid in colds, flu or upper respiratory tract infections. Hypersensitivity to any of the active or auxiliary substances of this preparation is a contraindication to the use of Engystol. Engystol should also not be given to children under 6 years of age. The use of Engystol is also not recommended in the case of pregnant and breastfeeding women. Also, people with known intolerance to some sugars should not take Engystol. Taking Engystol can also cause side effects from time to time. Rash is the most common side effect. How to properly dose Engystol?
