Enfamil comfort – properties

Enfamil comfort is intended for newborns and infants diagnosed with mild disorders in the digestive process of food. It is exactly a medical foodstuff. In its composition, the preparation contains partially hydrolyzed cow’s milk proteins. This type of protein has its molecules cut into small pieces. What is very important, Enfamil comfort contains much less lactose than other milk or food intended for small children and newborns, therefore the preparation is much easier to digest. The foodstuff Enfamil comfort has a positive effect on any symptoms of digestive disorders such as rainfall or gas, it can alleviate their intensity and frequency of occurrence.

Additionally, Enfamil comfort contains vitamins, minerals, and nutrients necessary for the proper functioning of a young child’s body. The measure includes, among others:

The product contains modified milk and soy. Enfamil comfort is available in cans with a net weight of 800 g. It is very important to note that the product is suitable for use in newborns and infants, but up to 6 months of age.

Prepare the product according to the instructions on the packaging. Failure to follow the recommendations may cause side effects, for example diarrhea, vomiting. Before administering the preparation, boil the water for about 5 minutes, then let it cool down. Next, add a measured portion of the powder to the cooled water. Of course, the doses and their frequency depend on the age and weight of the child, and there is an exact information board on the packaging. The powder must be thoroughly dissolved in water otherwise it will not be possible for it to flow through the hole in the nipple. Before administering, check the temperature of the prepared preparation, it is best to do it by applying a few drops to the wrist. Enfamil comfort should be consumed immediately after administration, its remains should not be stored, it must not be heated in a microwave or frozen.

The mixture is not sterile, so it cannot be given to premature babies, children with reduced immunity. It is worth consulting the selected mixture with your pediatrician, because it is very important to adjust it to the current needs of the child. The product should always be stored in a dry, preferably shaded place. It is important that the agent is used up within one month of opening it for the first time. Enfamil comfort is not an agent that can be used in parenteral feeding. The product should be protected against excessive heating.
