Endermology – what is it?

The beneficial effects of massage on the condition of the skin are well known. Such a treatment not only firms but also improves blood circulation and accelerates the metabolic processes taking place in cells. In this way, it facilitates fat burning. Its intense action is due to special rollers and a suction chamber, thanks to which it affects the deep layers of the skin.

Endermology is used as an aid in weight loss. It is most often used in the thighs, abdomen, and – in a more delicate version – in the neck and face. The procedure is recommended for people struggling with cellulite and fatty tissue that is difficult to reduce only by diet and exercise. Endermology – precautions

Like most aesthetic medicine treatments, also z endermological massage there are some contraindications. People struggling with various types of skin or circulatory problems should be especially careful. Endermology is not recommended in the case of eczema, acne, varicose veins, mechanical damage or skin inflammation. Contraindications also include pregnancy, breastfeeding, varicose veins, thrombosis, inflammation within the blood vessels, diabetes mellitus with peripheral neuropathy, lipomas, hernia and neoplasms.

As a result of the vacuum massage, the skin may develop small bruises and redness, and in the case of shallow vascularized skin – spider veins.

Endermology – what is worth knowing about the procedure?

The duration of the vacuum massage is about 15–40 minutes, depending on the area of ​​the body undergoing the procedure. If we decide to make a series of visits, it is recommended to drink two liters of water a day for their duration. The effectiveness of endermology will also be increased by regular exercise and an easily digestible diet. Keep in mind that a healthy lifestyle is essential to achieving and maintaining good results.

Before starting the procedure, the patient puts on a special one costume for endermologywhich protects the skin from direct contact with the massage device and increases the skid of the rollers. The massage head sucks in the folds of the skin and the rollers massage them from the inside out. The treatment is not painful if the massage intensity is properly adjusted to the patient’s needs. Some discomfort may accompany the first treatment. The next ones should be relaxing and pleasant.

Endermology is recommended in series of 10–15 visits, which will allow you to obtain a visible and more lasting result. The frequency of treatments should not exceed 2-3 times a week.

Regular endermology treatments, i.e. their full package, is a way to get rid of cellulite and slim the figure. The procedure will not replace weight loss, but will strengthen its effects, acting on problematic parts of the body resistant to exercise. Endermological massage increases the production of elastin and collagen, which has a beneficial effect on the skin, improving its elasticity. For this reason, the treatment is also used on the face and neck, as it reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
