Emofix – when should it be used? Dosage and price of the drug Emofix

Emofix is a hemostatic ointment used to prevent bleeding and stop mucosal problems. It is used to stop skin hemorrhages resulting from an injury, injury or abrasion. It is helpful in tamponing the nose, especially if the bleeding is repeated. Recommended for gum problems caused by itself or caused by trauma. The product can be used on wounded skin in both adults and children. Due to its natural, safe composition, it can be used not only incidentally, but also regularly.

The preparation creates a mechanical barrier that protects the wound against microbial penetration. Quickly inhibits blood leakage. It has a high safety rating in operation, it can be used directly on open wounds, as well as preventively in the event of leaks in the vessels of the mucous membranes. It is a multi-functional medical device, which means that it can be used in several ways.

The package contains one 30-gram tube of ointment, an applicator and a leaflet.

Emofix – how to store and use the preparation?

Before use, check the packaging for damage and check the expiry date of the preparation. After unscrewing the tube with the ointment, apply the appropriate amount of the substance to the bleeding gum, skin or nasal mucosa. In the case of major bleeding and the need to use a tamponade, an additional applicator, which is included in the package, can be used. Screw the tube tightly after use.

Store the product out of the reach of children, dark and dry, preferably between 10 and 28 ° C. Changes in the consistency of the ointment as a result of storage at temperatures lower than recommended do not change the properties of the drug and its quality (after being transferred to a place at room temperature, the ointment returns to its original state). The same is true for the liquefaction of the product in an environment above 28 ° C.

Emofix – composition

Vitamin E takes care of cell regeneration so that the preparation also has healing properties. Emofix – contraindications and precautions

Do not use the ointment in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not swallow the substance, it is intended for external use.

Before buying, check that the ointment is the original product. The only importer of this preparation to Poland is the company VITAMED from Smardzewice.

Emofix – side effects

When applied directly to mucous membranes, itching, burning or leakage may occur throughout the first days of treatment. These effects subside in the further course of treatment with hemostatic ointment.

In the event of side effects, the fact should be reported to the physician together with a detailed description of any accompanying events, for example, medications taken during the treatment period with the ointment.

Emofix – opinions

Patients with vascular problems appreciate this ointment. They point out that it is almost the only product of this type available on the market. According to them, the advantage is the possibility of using the ointment preventively and moisturizing, as well as the usefulness of the applicator when it is necessary to tampon the nose. Since the preparation creates a mechanical barrier on the surface of damaged skin, it can be used in first aid to accelerate blood clotting. It is available not only in Poland, but also abroad, for example in Great Britain, so people who travel frequently know what product to order at a pharmacy.

Emofix – replacements

The substitutes for the Emofix ointment include: Rinopanteina (in the form of an ointment), Rhinoton (spray), Nisita (ointment). Most of them have an effect similar to the original preparation, i.e. they inhibit hemorrhagic ailments and moisturize the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses.

Emofix is not recommended in the case of a recurring problem of hemorrhoids – suppositories, for example Anusir or Anurex with appropriate applicators, may be appropriate medication.
