Historical information

Inver House Distillers Limited was founded in 1964 as a subsidiary of the American company Publicker Industries, headquartered in Philadelphia. The first production site was opened in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland. The industrial complex was built on the site of an abandoned paper mill, a distillery and a whiskey factory were located on the territory. By the end of the 60s, the company became a leader among European manufacturers in the industry.

By the early 80s, global demand for whiskey had plummeted. The death of the head of Publicker Industries complicated the situation. American owners have lost interest in developing business in Scotland. The company was in decline for a long time, until in 1988 the local management managed to buy the company from the owners. Despite the difficult times, most of the production and storage facilities were saved.

In 2001, the company was acquired by the Thai Beverage Public Limited Company. The assortment was replenished with varieties aimed at buyers from Southeast Asia, and sales significantly exceeded previous volumes. Inver House Distillers produces whiskey at five distilleries located in different parts of Scotland.

Whiskey Embassy Club belongs to the category of traditional Scottish blends. The blend consists of grain and malt spirits aged in oak barrels for at least three years. To achieve a deeper color, caramelized sugar and natural dye are added to the composition. There are no artificial additives and flavorings in the drink. The manufacturer positions the product as whiskey for any occasion.
