Then the tablet is taken twice (in the morning and in the evening), but the doctor decides about the duration of the treatment. Eliquis is also used in people who have thrombosis in the veins of the legs and blood vessels in the lungs. In this case, two tablets should be taken daily for seven days (one tablet each morning and evening). After this time, the doctor decides whether to continue the drug therapy.
