Elina Bystritskaya: biography
Elya was born in Kiev to a Jewish family by the Bystritskys. Avraham Petrovich (father) worked as a military doctor, and Esfir Isaakovna (mother) worked as a cook in a hospital. Then the family lived in the cities of Nizhyn and Astrakhan.
As a child, the girl was surrounded by only paramedics. The war began. And it is not hard to guess that Elya followed in her father’s footsteps. She enrolled in nursing courses, worked as a nurse in a front-line mobile evacuation hospital.
In 1947 she graduated from the Nizhyn obstetric and paramedic school. During her studies, she was engaged in amateur performances and fell in love with the theater.
Avraham Petrovich did not approve of his daughter’s intentions to connect his life with the theater. At his insistence, Elina entered the Nizhyn State Pedagogical Institute to study as a philologist. But a year later she became a student at the Kiev Institute of Theater Arts, which she brilliantly graduated in 1953.
After working in two theaters, in 1958 the actress linked her fate with the stage of the Moscow Maly Theater.
First Love
Sometimes people think that the script of life has already been written from above. From fate, as they say, you cannot escape. It was in Kiev that the beautiful student met the young actor of the Russian Drama Theater named after I. Lesia Ukrainka – Kirill Lavrov and fell madly in love! This was her first love.
Kirill and Elina decided to get married in the summer of 1953. The parents of the bride and groom met each other, but the wedding did not take place! Cyril met another. It also happens.
Kirill Yurievich lived very happily with actress Valentina Nikolaeva. They have been married for half a century. Forty years after the wedding, they got married. In 2002, Valentina Alexandrovna died, in 2007, Kirill Yuryevich died. They were buried nearby. In this marriage, children were born: Sergei and Masha.

After breaking up with her beloved, Elina’s mental wound did not heal for a long time. Many years later, at some event, Lavrov approached Elina Avraamovna, kissed her hand and she greeted warmly. Time cures!
Husband
Elina Avraamovna got married rather late, although there were a lot of fans. There were marriage proposals. But, apparently, the iron character and strict upbringing of her parents were for many a lock to her soul. Her chosen one was the translator Nikolai Ivanovich Kuzminsky, who worked at the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
Unfortunately, for medical reasons, Bystritskaya could not have children. The war did not go unnoticed. At the front, she carried a stretcher with the wounded – and this is the result. The husband was much older. Over time, his betrayal began. After 27 years of marriage, they divorced. Several years later, Nikolai Ivanovich died.

Elina Bystritskaya was engaged in teaching and loved life very much. Love for the stage has always been in the first place for Elina Avraamovna. In life, it is important to do what you love very much.
The years have not taken away her beauty and elegance. To be in shape, Bystritskaya did gymnastics every day, followed a diet and went to bed on time. There was discipline in everything. Height – 1,65 m, weight – 57 kg. Zodiac sign – Aries.
Illness and death
Bystritskaya’s cause of death was a prolonged illness, which she did not advertise. It is known that the actress completely lost her sight and the ability to move.
