In Electrolux machines that are not equipped with a screen, the error code is read by the signals of the lights. The control panels have various modifications, but the decryption is not affected by the panel itself, but by the control module. So, in machines with the EWM 1000 module, the code is determined by two indicators located at the START / PAUSE (first) and “End of washing” (second) buttons.
The blinking of the indicators is rhythmic with a pause and a repetition of blinking. So, the number of blinks of the first bulb is the first digit of the code, the second is the second digit. If the first light blinked 5 times, and the second blinked 3 times, then you have encountered an E53 error. In CMA models with the EWM 2000 module, the code decoding scheme is more complicated – 8 lamps are used at once, which are located on the right side of the dashboard. So, 4 upper indicators indicate the first digit in the error code, and 4 lower indicators point to the second. Deciphering the combinations is easy according to the table:
Then decipher the received code in the first table of our review.
It is important to understand the meaning of the error and why it appears on the display. Now you can independently cope with the repair of the Electrolux washing machine.
