First of all chose Electrolux ENN 3153 AOW for spaciousness and stable operation, as promised in the store. But the durability turned out to be not so long – it worked for only 3 years, there was a leak in the foam part. If you need a refrigerator that will last only a few years, you can take this one.

Of all the models among which I chose (no more than 42 rubles), this was the most voluminous. The brand is well-known, the assembly is of high quality. It does not work very quietly, and the plastic is not of the highest quality. But otherwise I’m happy with the purchase – there were no breakdowns so far.

Silent enough model with comfortable shelves. Enough for a large family with two children. Of the minuses: abundant condensate from the rear wall. The assembly is frank China, everything is flimsy. We took it in the fall of 2014 for 37 thousand, and we started using it only from the new year. We’ve been thinking about renovations since the summer. It turned out that the board was broken (all the lights flashed, it did not respond to button presses). The masters were called from different companies, and both said that there was no point in repairing, because only the fee costs up to 20 thousand, and it is not a fact that he will then work for a long time. This is our experience.

What are the most common faults?
Turn-to-turn closure
The motor-compressor is the main part of any refrigeration appliance. Due to the interturn circuit of the motor windings, the temperature inside the refrigerator rises rapidly. At the same time, the motor tries to start – if the house is quiet, you can hear the clicks of the triggered relay. Unfortunately, it cannot be repaired, so the only way to fix the damage is by replacing it.
Breakdown of the electronic board
Partially, as we have already said, the Electrolux models are equipped with electronics. Despite the declared reliability, parts can fail for banal reasons, for example, due to sudden voltage drops in the mains. You can understand that the electronic circuit needs to be repaired or replaced by a number of signs: temperature jumps in the chambers, an extinct screen, flashing lights.
Failure of the thermostat
This usually occurs against the background of depressurization of the thermostat bellows tube. The power supply circuit of the motor is broken, the temperature in the chamber rises. The problem is solved by replacing the element.
Evaporator sensor failure
The sensor is placed in a special plastic flask and filled with glue to protect it from moisture. When the compressor stops, the evaporator thaws (hence the name – “weeping”, as drops of thawed frost flow down it).
Temperature fluctuations do not have a very good effect on the adhesive composition of the thermistor, so over time it begins to let moisture in. As a result, the sensor begins to report incorrect data to the control center, the board commands the motor to work harder, and the products freeze. Often, with such a breakdown, the temperature values uXNUMXbuXNUMXbare even drop below zero, and the products that lie on the bottom shelf immediately above the boxes for vegetables and fruits are covered with ice first.
Replacing the sensor with a new element will solve the problem.
