At heart, we always remain young, but in practice, time takes its toll. The body and position in society are changing. At thirty, we can no longer live as students. How to cross the line for the benefit of yourself?
You understand that life will never be the same again. You start hiding your age and birthday, you have no idea what to do with life. By the age of thirty, you expected to achieve a lot, but your dreams did not come true. You can no longer hide behind youth. If at twenty you thought that you would do “adult” things after thirty, now there is nowhere to put it off. You have turned thirty, and new problems have appeared in your life.
1. The body gets old
Much depends on the health and care that you have given to the body in previous years. But even the best engines begin to act up after thirty years of operation. Now back pain, a sprained ankle, or a hangover doesn’t go away as quickly as it used to.
2. You don’t get any favors.
Friends and relatives love you and care about your life. Previously, they tried to support any of your life choices. But now you are older. Your youthful enthusiasm and carefree outlook on life and finances is no longer endearing. You need to get married, have children, take out a mortgage — «the time has come.»
3. Others expect decisions from you.
Before the appearance of the first wrinkles, few people came to you for advice on solving everyday problems. Now you are a suitable candidate for this role. You are no longer part of a new generation, it is your turn to be responsible for everything.
4. Young people annoy you
Friends will say that you are still young. Don’t trust them. At your age, they felt the same way and felt the same way. Twenty-year-olds can go out and drink half the night, and then work themselves out in the gym. But you know — in a few years everything will change. At 30, one can only envy them.
5. You watch the news
You are no longer happy with stupid entertainment programs. Now at breakfast you watch the news, complain about the crisis and health care.
6. You can’t do what you used to
Alone with yourself, you can still do anything: for example, jump naked around the apartment, singing a Whitney Houston song. But in the presence of others, you will want to put away a romantic book about vampires.
7. You need to plan your expenses.
There have been times when you mindlessly paid with a credit card, but it’s time to take responsibility for your finances, if only out of fear.
8. It’s hard for you to find a man
At twenty, you lived dreams, you could start a relationship with any man who seemed attractive. Now consider every man as a potential husband and be afraid to get attached to the wrong person. If you are dating a man to unwind or have fun, you are wasting his time.

«THE MAIN THING IS AWARENESS AND ACTION»
Marina Fomina, psychologist:
Thirty years is the moment when you need to honestly look at your life. It’s time to realize our place in the world and start moving where we want to go. Study yourself, your desires, opportunities and limitations. What exactly can you do, what is important and valuable to you, what do you strive for and what do you avoid. This is the basis for self-love.
Consciously prioritize. Do not be guided by the opinions of other people, reserve the right to decide. If you have gaps in some area of your life, do not rush to thoughtlessly catch up. Stop and think about what you want, and then move in the chosen direction.
Listen to yourself. Do not shelve new fears and attitudes. It is better to work through them consciously. Learn to distinguish between the types of fears: distinguish the fear that keeps you safe from the fear of a new experience. Do not worry and do not be afraid, boldly and with interest master new experience.
The first step to growing up is to take responsibility for your life. The better you work on the problems of this stage, the easier it will be to move on.
