Onion syrup: recipe
- Choose two or three good, firm onions. peel them;
- Chop the onion into small pieces, then put it in a bowl;
- Sprinkle the whole thing with a few spoons of sugar (large);
- Add a tablespoon of honey (if you don’t have it at home, you can skip this step; you should also check if the person you want to give honey to is not allergic to it);
- Cover the whole thing with a plate and wait about 3-5 hours;
- After this time, the syrup is ready to consume and will give the best results.
Onion syrup is rich in vitamins

Using onion syrup
Children should be given no more than 2-3 teaspoons of syrup a day, preferably after breakfast, lunch and dinner or just before these meals. Adults can consume more onion syrup, but also in moderation. Although it is a natural medicine, it is also an effective medicine, which, if used in excess, will not fulfill its role well.
