Educational campaign «Diabetes mellitus. Opportunities and challenges »under the patronage of the Polish Diabetes Society

Why do diabetics die most often from cardiovascular diseases? What is the future of insulin use? Why is disease awareness so important in a diabetic? How important is the individualization of therapy in terms of diabetes?

The answers to these and many other questions concerning diabetes and diabetes health can be found in the educational campaign of The Point publishing house – «Diabetes. Opportunities and challenges ».

The whole was published in Gazeta Wyborcza on May 17 as a special thematic supplement, in an online version – on wpunktozdrowiu.pl and on many websites and events dealing with the subject of diabetic health.

Together with experts and partners, we introduce the topic of diabetes. We want to focus, among others on the topic related to the interdisciplinary approach to the disease, high mortality of diabetics related to complications caused by cardiovascular diseases, the future of human insulin in terms of treatment of type XNUMX diabetes, mental health of diabetics, as well as the essence of the development of therapeutic education in terms of diabetes. We will present the topics of diet and physical activity as an essential element of diabetic health.
