Purederm, collagen eye area mask, 30 patches, 190 rubles
– I really love eye care products. It’s no secret that it is under the eyes that the skin is the thinnest and most prone to dryness, as well as early aging. Therefore, she needs care and hydration. Patches are a lifesaver for any person (yes, even for men), at any age! These little pads have been in my arsenal for years.
Expectations: I tried many different patches and almost every one of them satisfied my needs. The patches should moisturize the skin, smooth and nourish. What else? And what would you like?
Reality: Purederm Collagen Eye Zone Mask are some of the most popular budget patches. They contain collagen, vitamin E, green tea and tropical fruits, thanks to which the mask has a pleasant aroma.
The first plus is that the patches are evenly saturated with a composition that does not spread over the face, but moisturizes the skin. The effect of them is instant – the circles under the eyes disappear, and the skin color becomes more even.
I will not say that these patches are suitable for those who want to smooth out wrinkles (they can be smoothed out by a massage or botox session), but I believe that in their price category they perfectly cope with everyday problems.
Life hack: put patches in a cool place, for example, on a windowsill, so it is more pleasant to apply them and the effect is faster.
Rating: 10 out of 10 points… Buy and see.
Koelf, Hydro Gel Pearl & Shea Butter Eye Patch, 1490 rubles (Pudra.ru)
– Hydrogel eye patches are new and almost unfamiliar to me. To be honest, I’ve heard about the magical properties of this product a couple of times, but I never even thought to use them. Although, I confess, lately I have been increasingly worried about puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. Will the Korean brand Koelf patches cope with these problems?
Expectations: Koelf, popular among lovers of South Korean cosmetics, is famous for its eye patches and fabric masks. The brand has several lines for different leather needs. I got a hydrogel patch called Pearl & Shea Butter. They are coated with a special serum, which, in response to the temperature of the skin, is absorbed into the epidermis and moisturizes it. The composition contains pearl powder, shea butter, extracts of camellia, yuzu fruits, wormwood, grapefruit seeds and much more – Koreans love to add more to their products. On the packaging of the patches, deep hydration and the disappearance of expression lines are promised.
Reality: Yes, Hydro Gel Pearl & Shea Butter does not promise swelling or dark circles under the eyes. However, they are really good at moisturizing and brightening the area under the eyes. In this regard, the look seems fresh. I do not have any special mimic wrinkles, so it will be difficult for me to evaluate this item. Among the pluses – a large number (patches are enough for 30 applications) and a nice price. Of the minuses, it may not be suitable for owners of hypersensitive skin and eyes, like mine. I could not sit with the patches for 10 minutes. It began to pinch a lot around the eyes, and I had to get rid of the stickers. However, the moisturizing effect was noticeable even after a short application.
Rating: 7 of 10 points. I took off points for the patches not being tested on sensitive skin.
Retinol, Anit-Aging Eye Gel Pads, about 2240 rubles
– Moisturizing patches for edema and wrinkles are my everything! These babies are really capable of returning clarity to their eyes and youthfulness to their face, even if you worked all night at the computer or lit up at a noisy party! I was not familiar with this American brand before. And, by the way, at first I was confused by the name. Not every brand can boast of using just the full name of the substance. This is because all the products of this brand use a high concentration of retinol palmitate, which is responsible for exfoliating dead cells, stimulating collagen production, moisturizing the skin and anti-aging effect.
Expectation: Retinol is often used in eye patches, but with varying success. Therefore, I would like the products of this brand to at least not disappoint me.
Reality: one package contains 10 pairs, which are in an individual bag, so it is very convenient to take them with you on a plane, train or use at home. The patches themselves are quite thin, made of special soft fabric, which is pleasant to the touch and does not cause allergies. I used them in the morning, almost immediately after waking up. It should be noted that they coped with their task with a bang!
The product perfectly moisturizes the skin, lightens circles under the eyes, and also removes bags and puffiness quite well (they are not so big for me, but the effect was noticeable with the naked eye!).
Rating: 10 of 10 points. I really liked the product, I will definitely throw a few pairs into my purse.
Lysedia, Liftage, Eye Contour Anti-Aging Patch, about 4000 rubles
– Maxi-patches for the skin around the eyes are my must-have product at all times. After deadlines at work or night flights, only these stickers save you from dark circles under the eyes. Especially when correctors are no longer able to help … I tried mask-patches of different brands, but Lysedia never. And this despite the fact that I periodically use peeling for the face of this brand, and also often hear positive reviews about its other products.
Expectations: The manufacturer writes that Lysedia mask-patches smooth out expression and age wrinkles, remove puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. Also, representatives of the brand focus on the unique composition: in addition to the familiar extracts of aloe vera and chamomile, elastin, marine collagen and hyaluronic acid, the product includes 24-carat gold.
Reality: The Lysedia patch masks are generously coated with gel, so it was not easy to get them out of the package. But the worst thing is that, unlike the usual eye care products, you can’t walk around the apartment with them after application, you can’t even sit without moving. Only in the supine position, the patches do not drain from the skin around the eyes to the chin. But, however, this, you see, is not such a serious problem. The main thing is that the effect of the product is effective. And it turned out to be effective.
After 20 minutes, the patch masks became almost dry, and I took them off. I look at myself in the mirror and see a wow effect: the area around the eyes has become incredibly smooth, moisturized and radiant, as if I spent several hours in the spa. I don’t know what the matter is – in 24-carat gold or marine collagen – but I definitely realize that, most likely, I will buy packaging.
I note that I also liked the mask-patches of other brands, but, unlike Lysedia, they just brightened the skin a little. There was no radiance and super-moisture from them.
Evaluation: 10 out of 10 points. The price justifies the quality.
Bioptic eye mask bi-patch, 5060 rubles
– Of course, I know that it is worth starting to take care of the skin around the eyes first of all, because there it is the thinnest and the fastest begins to age. But I didn’t use more than serum or cream, and, to tell the truth, I rarely did it. Even fresh cucumbers never lay in front of my eyes, like this. What can we say about expensive masks.
Expectations: dark circles under my eyes have been with me as long as I can remember! I didn’t think there were any means that could change this picture. How wrong I was, the Bioptic bi-patch eye mask stimulates the outflow of venous blood and lymph, improves microcirculation, eliminates puffiness, bags and dark circles under the eyes.
And the manufacturer also promises youth! After regular use, wrinkles around the eyes become less visible. The tool has the ability to inactivate free radicals, actively counteracts aging. The skin looks fresher and hydration levels return to normal.
Reality: taking off the mask after the prescribed 15 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised! No bruises under my eyes, the look is so fresh, as if I didn’t come home tired, but from a beauty salon. In short, I couldn’t believe my eyes and happiness.
I got the mask in 6 sachets containing 2 gel patches. If you apply it in the evening, then I do not advise you to rinse off the remnants of the product. Absorb the gel completely with light massage movements, and then apply the cream you use daily.
Rating: 10 of 10 points. The tool is definitely worthy of the price of 5 thousand rubles. Well, what to do, beauty requires money. This is some kind of magic, I will definitely use a mask.
KWC Masks for deep hydration of the skin around the eyes, 2150 rubles
– Alas, bruises under the eyes are my eternal problem. Too thin skin and closely spaced vessels give not at all the effect that I would like. Any lack of sleep, a glass of wine at night or even a glass of water immediately imprints on my face. Therefore, my cosmetic bag is full of cooling gels, instant masks and other magic gels. I tested the patches of the Japanese premium brand with passion.
Expectations: I know a lot about Japanese cosmetics and, to be honest, I am wary of it. Many of the things that have the mark Made in Japan are made here. And the fact that with hieroglyphs and 100% from Japan can act too aggressively on our thinner hair and skin. The KWC brand produces dietary supplements and cosmetics, belongs to the premium segment. There is a note on the site that the products are made “specially for Russians” taking into account their needs, but it is not very clear what exactly this means. But since the patches do not need to be taken orally, I decided to take a chance. I tested them in the morning – the most difficult time for my eyes.
Reality: as part of the masks – hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed marine collagen, extract of flowers, leaves and stalks of nasturtium, extract of sakura leaves, acerola fruits, white peony root, oat seeds – that is, everything is mainly about strong hydration. Let’s get started.
There are 10 pairs of patches in the box, each in a separate package. In principle, everything is quite standard – convenient applications are richly saturated with nutrients, the smell is delicate and pleasant. I stuck them under my eyes and went to enchant my husband. The composition pleasantly cooled the skin, for those 15 minutes that the mask had to be kept, the applications did not dry out, did not tighten the skin. But there was no wow effect, as after using Helena Rubinstein. The mask removed puffiness under the eyes, moisturized the skin well. But my bruises never faded. Nevertheless, I will leave these patches for myself not as an SOS-tool, but as a care.
Evaluation: 8 out of 10. The mask is not bad, but cheaper counterparts give the same effect.
