What depolluting plants in the house?
They are not (only) there to make up the living room! Neither seen nor known, green plants are responsible for removing toxic substances from the air. The leaves, roots and microorganisms present in the earth indulge in an extremely efficient “bio-purification” system.
In practice, each plant is specialized in the absorption of one (or more) particular pollutant. In the baby’s room, opt for example for the spider plant (chlorophytum) which will absorb formaldehyde, or even areca, anti-xylene (keep out of reach of little hands, of course!).

La boston fern, the philodendron rouge, the spathiphyllum or the whole family of palm are very effective depolluting plants. There is no shortage of choice when it comes to going green, so don’t hesitate!
Last advice: a depolluting plant at home should not, however, exempt you from airing your rooms regularly! It is just as important!

Energy-saving lamps have more than one advantage for the planet: energy savings, lower electricity bills and not to mention that they are recyclable!

Unlike conventional and halogen bulbs, energy saving lamps are also recyclable. All you need to do is bring them back to the store, drop them off at an attached recycling center or leave them to your electrician.
Recycle your liquid waste
No longer take your sink or your toilet for a trash can! Household oils, used oil, herbicides, paints, solvents… must not put a “foot” in your pipes (or even in a manhole, for that matter!).
To preserve the environment of this liquid waste, it is more than advisable to bring it to collection points provided for this purpose. Also think about reducing your detergent doses or, better yet, using ecological products.
And while you’re at it, try not to waste too much water by letting it run in the shower or while washing the dishes. Drinking it from the tap also avoids producing waste …
