Eating problems

My two-year-old baby has had a problem with eating for several months.

He can sometimes eat only milk for the night during the whole day. I give him everything to eat: fruits, vegetables, dairy products, soups, meat, but he keeps rejecting everything. He drinks a lot. Please help. What should I do to make my child eat everything normally? Can a child’s lack of appetite mean an illness?

Please analyze what happened that the child, who was eating properly so far, started to reject food – maybe some disease, traumatic experience? First of all, please contact a pediatrician who knows your child urgently and will assess whether chronic non-eating has caused weight gain disorders or other deficiencies, e.g. anemia.

A child requires extended pediatric, neuropediatric, possibly gastrological or endocrine diagnostics, because it is not a normal symptom and may indicate an illness. I must not make a diagnosis without examining the child.
