We are in the run-up to the Fish Products Week, which will be held in several Spanish cities from June 22 to 27
The initiative of Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA) seeks to support, disseminate and make known to the entire population, from the distribution channel, the variety and excellent quality of our screenshots of the
fishery
and also obtained through the aquaculture.
With the slogan of “Come rico, come healthy, like pescado” it seeks to put the marine fauna of fish and shellfish at the center of a balanced diet, as a bulwark of a Healthy nutrition, and for this, different promotional initiatives have been carried out
and informative, addressed to catering and hospitality professionals,
children, the media and consumers in general.
In different cities of the country, Madrid, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Pamplona, Almería and Toledo, fish tastings, educational workshops and children’s activities will be carried out to bring the public benefits and health of eating fish.
The week will conclude its activities in the capital of Spain, in the company of an exhibition where a communicative action of the marketing chain of
fish products from their origin until they reach homes.
Fish as a productive activity and source of Health
The campaign revolves around the Spanish production fabric of fishing, processing, and subsequent distribution, highlighting the very important work of the people who sail the seas aboard the more than 9.500 boats that fish in the seas of the entire planet.
