This basket can hold Easter eggs, candy, or small cupcakes. This will be a very pleasant and unusual gift close to Easter. It is done very simply, even a child can cope with this task. Take on board: a great idea of preparing for Easter with the whole family!
So, we need the following materials:
• cardboard egg tray;
• acrylic paint or gouache in pastel shades;
• brush;
• scissors;
• wire;
• thick needle;
• beautiful colored feathers of delicate colors;
• satin ribbons.
First you need to tear off (you can cut with scissors) 4 cells from the cardboard tray.
Then take a pastel-colored paint and paint the basket blank on all sides. Let it dry for 30 minutes.
When the paint has dried well, make holes in two opposite edges of the workpiece with a needle. We cut off the length of the wire necessary for the handle with a margin in order to fix it. We pass the wire through the holes of the workpiece, fix it on both sides.
We decorate the basket with feathers – carefully put them in the cells. We put Easter eggs (or other treats) in the cells, and tie a ribbon bow on a wire handle. You can add another decor – in my example, this is a small decorative bird glued with a thermal gun
While you are making a large basket, your child can make a small one from one cell. As you can see, this adorable little basket is made very easily, but it looks like a completely finished decorated gift. And most importantly – made with a soul!
Happy Easter, dear readers! Give each other soulful gifts!
