Sodium salt of fatty acids (Sodium salt of fatty acids, potassium salt of fatty acids, calcium salt of fatty acids, potassium salt of fatty acids, calcium salt of fatty acids, E470a) — emulsifiers and stabilizers.
Salts of natural fatty acids, most often of plant origin, but animal fats can also be used. Typically, the acids are a mixture of stearic, oleic, palmitinic, and myristic acids.
Types of fatty acid salts:

- (ii) Potassium salts of fatty acids (potassium salt of fatty acids);
- (iii) Calcium salts of fatty acids.
