Orange GGN (Orange GGN, alpha-naphthol orange, alpha-naphthol orange, E111) is an orange color dye. Chemical formula C16H10N2Na2O7S2.
The absorption spectrum of Orange GGN and Yellow “Sunset” is almost identical in the visible and ultraviolet range, but differs in the infrared.
Currently, this dye is prohibited for use in the United States, Europe and our country, as toxilogical studies have shown its danger to health.
