Popular varieties of Dutch roses

One of the most popular varieties is Red Naomi. The petals are maroon, the bud can reach 15 centimeters or more in height. The number of petals in a bud can exceed 80. Roses of this variety are practically the only ones that exude aroma. When cut, the rose remains fresh and attractive for a long time. The Dutch roses in the photo can be of a variety of colors.

Dutch roses come in a wide variety of colors

The Dutch Avalanche rose has unusual white-green flowers. The buds are voluminous, but not very high, about 8-10 cm. “Avalanche” successfully produces buds right up to the very frosts and, moreover, is not afraid of strong temperature changes. The main thing for this variety is fertile land and regular feeding with fertilizers.

Roses of the “Grace” variety usually amaze everyone with all shades of pale pink color at all stages of bud opening. This rose belongs to the bush type, and several buds can be collected on one inflorescence, from 2 to 5. The diameter of the flowers is not more than 5 cm.

Penny Lane roses have an unusual yellow-green color, the number of petals ranges from 40 to 50. The size of the bush usually reaches 45-55 cm in favorable conditions.

Roses of the “Magadi” variety have tall flowers about 7-9 cm long, with snow-white petals. They can stay in a vase for up to 10 days, while maintaining a presentable appearance. The bush can reach a height of 1 m.

The hybrid variety of roses “Mohana” has a yellow color, the buds are stuffed. Sometimes reddish tints may appear at the tips of the petals. The bush is small, frost-resistant.

Dutch roses of any variety can be propagated by cuttings, until the roots are fully developed, the cuttings are carried out in water, and then they are planted in open ground. If the ground has not yet warmed up, it is better to make a mini-greenhouse, periodically opening it.

In order for the plant to root as best as possible, all buds and shoots that form are removed. On average, a rose cut takes about a year to take root sufficiently.

To prevent pests and diseases, the ground under the bush is regularly loosened and periodically sprayed with soapy water to prevent pests, special attention is paid to the lower parts of the flower.

Whichever of the varieties is chosen, the main thing is to observe the planting technology, prevent plant diseases and rotting roots. Frequent loosening and watering with soapy water will help you see the long-awaited buds a little earlier than usual.
