Indications for the use of the drug Duspatalin
The active substance is mebeverine, which has relaxant properties. Duspatalin is administered for abdominal pain caused by intestinal smooth muscle spasm and functional intestinal disorders associated with irritable bowel syndrome in adults and children over 10 years of age.
Duspatalin dosage
Adults and children after the age of 10: 200 mg (1 capsule) twice a day, morning and evening.
Duspatalin and contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation is a contraindication to the use of Duspatalin. Duspatalin is not intended for use in children under 10 years of age.
Duspatalin and side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions may occasionally occur: urticaria, angioedema, facial edema and skin rash.
The capsules should be swallowed whole (not chewed) with water (at least 100 ml).
