After 120 days of the diet, acquaintances stopped recognizing Zuhra Urazbakhtina: she turned into a slender beauty and got a job on television.
– My story of losing weight began in my second year at the institute. I was 19 then, I walked in heels, wore XL jeans and weighed 85 kg. Enrolled in a university, moved to Kazan in a hostel. There was no refrigerator. Therefore, my roommate and I ate all perishable food for a couple in one evening. Fast food, chocolates at night while preparing for seminars. There were moments when they put me in the background in general photographs so that I did not cover anyone, but somehow on the plane I was offered to take two seats at once.
Once I saw a very offensive comment next to my photo on social networks of an acquaintance: “I am stuck in the folds of Zukhra.” It was like an electric shock. I burst into tears and realized that I hated myself and all my excess weight.
The next day I woke up at 6 am. I began to read about healthy nutrition on the Internet and bought a subscription to the fitness room. I started drinking 3 liters of water a day and walking from the institute to the hostel. I found a nutritionist on the Internet. I bought the products that he recommended to me. Every month I removed 50 g of food from the diet. For example, after three months, out of 300 g of chicken, only 100 g remained. But I ate enough of it. Breakfast consisted of oatmeal in water with a little salt added. I replaced the coffee with chicory. I didn’t drink food at all, I drank two glasses of water before meals. During the day, she could eat a piece of Borodino bread and a piece of cheese to enrich the body with carbohydrates. For the second breakfast I ate one fruit, a compote without sugar or a decoction of herbs. For lunch, I ate vegetarian soup and a slice of poultry or fish with Greek salad. The second meal consisted of steamed vegetables and grated carrot or beetroot salad without dressing. For an afternoon snack – a casserole or cheesecake, cooked according to the system of proper nutrition. The first dinner is chicken breast or white fish, salad or omelet made from proteins. The final dinner was at 8 or 9 pm to keep the bowels working properly. The more bans, the more disruptions. Therefore, I was allowed to eat rolls. I could eat marshmallow so that the body has enough glucose. After a month, I lost 8 kg.
I did power yoga three times a week so that there were no stretch marks on the skin. I learned to breathe correctly and did a “vacuum”. In February, my weight reached 70 kg. It was a success. Over the next month, I dropped another 5 kg and added cardio in the gym. I walked 7 km every day. I still have this habit.
They stopped recognizing me on the street: my face became narrower, my legs deflated, but my chest remained the same. And then my weight got up. Exhausting training did not work. I started not only running, but also boxing. Enrolled in an ordinary gym with a punching bag, where the trainer drove men and women equally, without giving anyone concessions. As a result, she lost weight up to 52 kg.
Today I continue to attend workouts, try something new: I discovered Pilates, I like to swim in the pool on an empty stomach in the morning, I do CrossFit. I try not to keep track of my weight, but if I see that the reflection in the mirror does not suit me, I increase the load. I came up with the best rule for a slim figure: “Work everything that you have eaten in the gym.” I am grateful to the man who wrote about my folds on social networks. But most importantly, a year ago my dream came true: I was hired to work as a news presenter for a TV channel.

Increasing physical activity during the so-called weight plateau is also perfectly the right step! Normal weight is always defined by two factors: a healthy diet and adequate exercise. If one of them suffers, the weight either stops decreasing, or begins to regain its position again. In order to maintain the achieved results in the future, Zukhra must follow the rules of a balanced diet and do not forget about physical exercises. However, this should not be exhausting and turn into self-torture. The most adequate physical activity for a person is walking. Keeping Zuhra in the habit of walking at an intense pace will be enough to support her dream weight.
