Late for a meeting? Spontaneous date? Did the alarm just go off in the morning? It’s good to have dry shampoo! It will quickly restore the feeling of cleanliness to the hair.
What is dry shampoo?
If in the days of Lagerfeld’s youth this cosmetic product was a curiosity, now everyone probably knows what dry shampoo is. It looks like a powder that is applied or sprayed on the hair when you need to get your head in order in a matter of minutes. Active substances-sorbents absorb excess sebum, hide dust particles and dead skin cells – in a word, they quickly “wash” their hair without water (the sorbents are then easily combed out with a comb). So dry shampoo in our vain age is a very useful thing. There is no division into funds by gender – the same dry shampoo is suitable for both men and women.
By the way, do you wash your hair often? Our test will tell you if you can do it less often.
Benefits of Dry Shampoo for Hair
It allows you to increase the intervals between shampooing sessions, which means that you can preserve the color of dyed hair for a longer period and, for example, the effect of keratin straightening. Dry shampoo is a real godsend for oily hair.
Dry shampoo helps get rid of excess styling – this is a great solution if you accidentally applied too much gel or wax to your hair while styling.
Finally, dry shampoo gives the hair extra volume. The result is clean curls without weighting.
Dry shampoo for the head is an indispensable thing:
if the water was turned off or you were unexpectedly invited to a party (reception, date), and you do not have time to wash your hair;
travel and business trips;
in a hospital or maternity hospital;
if you have oily hair that needs to be washed very often.
In general, someday any of us may need it, and it would be nice to always have it on hand – just in case.
How to choose dry shampoo
Perfectly absorb dirt:
vegetable components (oatmeal, rice, corn flour and starch, carob bark, gum, cocoa powder);
minerals (kaolin, silicon and talc);
synthesized ingredients (cyclodextrins and polysaccharides).
How to use dry shampoo correctly
Hair cleaned with regular and dry shampoo is easy to distinguish even in the photo. Of course, after dry shampoo, the strands will look noticeably cleaner than before using it, but still, they will be far from hair washed with the usual shampoo and water.
“I would consider dry shampoo as an addition to the usual,” says Garnier expert-creator Evgeny Sedoy. – For example, you wash your hair every 3-4 days, and use dry shampoo as needed in breaks, a couple of times a week. This will keep the hair clean and not deprive them of their natural shine due to frequent “wet cleaning”.
Dry shampoo will help get rid of excess styling and give your hair extra volume.
Spray
To make it more convenient to apply the product on the hair, the absorbent powder is placed in a spray can – this allows you to spray the contents onto the strands. Bottles with a dispenser “a la salt shaker” have recently become less and less common.
Shake the bottle.
Spray a small amount evenly on the hair from a distance of 20-30 cm. Avoid contact with eyes!
Leave for 2-5 minutes (exact time indicated on the package).
Then carefully go through the strands with a comb from roots to ends (a brush will not work).
