You can choose any brush for dry massage that is convenient for you: classic straight, curved, double-sided with large rounded rubber teeth or without a handle, but with a hand-mounted brush. General rules for dry massage:

  1. Before the procedure. The skin before the massage should be clean and completely dry. Shower with deep cleansing gels or body scrubs. Rinse thoroughly. Don’t steam your skin too much. Dry your body well so that no moisture remains on the skin, and you can start the massage.

  2. Technology features. Start the procedure from 3-6 minutes a day, then you can gradually increase the intensity and duration of the massage up to 15 minutes. Owners of sensitive skin are not recommended to carry out the procedure more than 1 time per week.

    Massage is carried out according to the principle: from the bottom up. Start with the feet, then the legs, buttocks, stomach, back, arms, neck and, if desired, the face (use a special small brush for this). All movements are also directed from the bottom up diagonally, except for the back area, where you can act in all directions. Alternate long and short circular motions. On the inner side of the thighs, in the armpits, chest and décolleté area, massage is not performed due to a significant accumulation of blood vessels or due to lymph nodes.

  3. After the procedure. At the end of the massage, take a contrast shower and apply a caring cosmetic product to the body: oil, milk, cream, lotion, spray with the desired effect, for example, moisturizing, cooling, anti-cellulite, tightening.

    Dry massage can be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to be painful. If the skin is too reddened or burns, irritations and bruises appear, then the brush did not fit you, or you put in too much effort.

Despite all the advantages and undeniable benefits, dry body massage still has a number of very important limitations that must be taken into account:

  • Damage to the skin: abrasions, bruises, wounds, cuts, scratches, hematomas, soft tissue bruises, etc.

  • Inflammatory skin diseases and various rashes.

  • Dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.

  • Reactive atopic skin prone to irritation.

  • Phlebeurysm.

  • Fungal infections of the skin.

  • Neoplasms on the skin: nevi, papillomas, warts, a large number of moles.

  • Skin burns, including sunburn.

  • The period of exacerbation of infectious diseases.

  • Increased body temperature.

In case of hypertension, blood clotting disorders, during pregnancy and in the postpartum period, the procedure requires additional consultation with a doctor. Please note that dry facial massage has a number of individual features and contraindications.
