Dry, rough heels give a person a lot of problems. This is both aesthetic discomfort and physical pain. You can get rid of rough skin on your legs both at home and in a beauty salon.
How to care for your heels
You will need:
- vinegar
- water
- pumice stone or foot brush
- emollient cream
- soda
- liquid soap

Use water treatments to soften your skin. You can use a foot bath. To do this, dissolve 2 tablespoons of vinegar in warm water, lower your feet there for 10-15 minutes. After that, scrub the problem areas of the skin with a pumice stone or a special heel brush. Rinse your feet with cold water, dry them and grease them with an emollient cream after half an hour.
You can also make a baking soda bath. Dissolve 2 teaspoons of baking soda in warm water, add 1 tablespoon of liquid soap, beat until foamy. Lower your feet for 15 minutes, then rub them with a pumice stone.

How to get rid of rough heels with folk remedies
You will need:
- egg yolk
- lemon juice
- potato starch
- warm water
- nutritious cream
- Oak bark
- marshmallow root
- squash
- apricot
- olive oil
Make a foot mask. Whisk 1 egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and the same amount of potato starch. Apply the mixture to washed heels for a few minutes. After the mask dries, rinse it off with warm water, lubricate the skin with a nourishing cream.
If you see cracks or calluses on the heels, use medicated baths, for example, prepared with the addition of oak bark.
Make lotions. To do this, grind the marshmallow root, pour 2 tablespoons of the root with 2 cups of water, close the container with a lid, put the container in a water bath for half an hour. After the time has elapsed, cool the broth, moisten a cotton pad in it and apply to rough skin.
You can also make a zucchini mask. Grate the zucchini pulp, place the mixture on cheesecloth, then press it against the hardened skin, after 30 minutes wash your feet with warm water.
After the mask, be sure to lubricate your feet with a nourishing cream.
Use apricots to prepare the mask. Mash them with a fork, add olive oil. Place in a water bath and heat slightly. In a warm form, apply the product to the skin, wrap the feet with foil, put on socks on top. Rinse off with warm water after 30 minutes.
