Dry skin on the heels not only looks ugly, but also delivers a lot of unpleasant sensations. It can also crack, and then the foot will hurt. You can get rid of this problem in just a few procedures that are doable at home.

The pumpkin puree milk bath will leave the skin of your heels soft and tender. First, steam the pumpkin in a little milk.

It is better to do this in a microwave or oven, the pumpkin can burn on a gas or electric burner

Mash in a medium-thick puree and add a tablespoon of olive oil (you can also). Stir and cover warm so that the mixture remains warm while the feet are steamed in water (30 minutes).

Pour water at such a temperature into the basin so as not to burn yourself. Add a tablespoon of starch, a teaspoon of baking soda, 2 tbsp. liquid soap. Soak your feet in water for 30 minutes. Clean your heels with a pumice stone. Pour the water and transfer the warm pumpkin puree to the bowl. Then lower your feet into the vegetable mass. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and rub the skin with a pumice stone again. Rinse off leftover pumpkin puree with water, towel dry your feet and apply foot moisturizer. Repeat the procedure 1-2 times a week – and you will forget what dry heels are.

Instead of a pumpkin, you can take a zucchini, the result will be no worse. And instead of water, prepare a decoction of medicinal herbs: sage, chamomile, marshmallow root

Dissolve a cup of Epsom salts in a bowl of warm water. Wait until the salt is completely dissolved, and only then lower your feet into the water. Steam your feet for half an hour, when the skin becomes loose, clean it with a pumice stone. Then remove the remaining roughness with a pedicure file, rinse your feet and wipe with a towel. Take vitamin E in oil, apply it to your heels and rub in. Wear your socks for at least a couple of hours. It is better to do this procedure at night.

Epsom salt and vitamin E in oil are available over the counter

If you have dry heels, use a banana pulp mask. To do this, mash one banana and apply the mixture to the heels, wrap your legs with cellophane and a towel. For greater effectiveness, it is better to make a mask after steaming the skin of the heels.

Make masks not only from banana, but also from applesauce, grated carrots, avocado, add honey, vegetable oils. After the mask, rub a homemade toner into your skin. Brew green tea at the rate of 1 tsp. in a glass of boiling water. Strain, add a few drops of geranium, jojoba, peach, jasmine or others essential oil to the tea. That’s all, you can rub it into the skin of your feet. After the tonic, moisturize the heels with cream.

Only regular care will help get rid of dry and rough skin
