Vitamin A. Vitamin A deficiencies are quite uncommon in the West. When they do arise, however, they lead to eye syndrome dry1.
Dosage
The recommended dietary allowance for vitamin A is 2 IU for women and 330 IU for men (3 years and older).
Flax (oil and seeds). A diet rich in omega-3 from flaxseed oil has shown to help prevent dry eye syndrome in patients with Gougerot-Sjögren syndrome2.
Dosage
Taking 1 g or 2 g per day in capsule is recommended3.
