Drinking sugary sodas is linked to endometrial cancer

The development of endometrial cancer in women, as shown by the experiment, depends on how often women include different types of sugary carbonated drinks in their diet. Drinking 60 servings of soda a week, doctors say threatens the development of endometrial cancer by 78%.

The experiment was conducted by US doctors with the participation of 23 postmenopausal women. All respondents answered questions related to diet. And they underwent a medical examination. During the research, 000 participants were found to have estrogen-dependent cancer. And a connection was revealed between the love of these women for sweet carbonated drinks and the risk of ailment.

As doctors believe, the link between endometrial cancer and sugary drinks can be explained as follows: the abundance of sweets contributes to the development of obesity. The latter usually provides a higher level of insulin and estrogen in the body. The higher the number, the higher the risk of endometrial cancer. This disease, doctors remind us, considered the fourth most common in women and the eighth, leading mostly to death. Given this fact, scientists advise to reduce the amount of sugary carbonated drinks consumed by men and women. And thus save yourself a life.
