What you need for creativity on a backlit table, on colored glass
A ready-made set for painting with sand can be purchased at specialized stores for creativity and needlework. You can also prepare all the necessary accessories yourself, it is not difficult.
First you need to build a backlit work surface. We take a wooden box, make a large and even hole in one of its wide sides. Place a glass rectangle on top of it. There should be no sharp edges or chips on the glass. To avoid cuts, you need to sandpaper it around the perimeter or use safe plexiglass.
On the opposite side, you need to make a small hole and install a lamp in it.
As for the sand, it must be rinsed well several times and dried in the oven. If special material is used, it does not require any preliminary actions. For a creative variety, it is possible to use colored sand or any bulk products – coffee, sugar, semolina, fine salt.
