– Since Friday, when the teachers’ vaccination against COVID-19 began, in the province eight undesirable reactions were reported to Łódź, including seven mild and one more serious – the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Wojciech Andrusiewicz, told PAP on Wednesday. There are several dozen applications all over the country.
Side effects of the AstraZeneca vaccine
Referring to reports that in Łódź there was an exceptional large number of undesirable reactions in teachers after injecting the preparation from Astra Zeneka, the spokesman of the Ministry of Health categorically denied it.
– We deny that there are exceptionally large numbers of NOPs in Łódź and Tomaszów Mazowiecki – said Andrusiewicz.
– From Friday after administration of AstraZeneki in the province. Eight NOPs were reported to the Łódź Province. All in Łódź – seven light and one more serious. There is no massive incidence of post-vaccination reactions – emphasized the spokesman of the Ministry of Health.
He added that several dozen adverse reactions after the Astra Zeneka vaccine were found throughout the country, not in one province.

Reactions after COVID-19 vaccines in Poland
The current report on adverse reactions to vaccines after injections against COVID-19, posted on government websites, reported on Wednesday morning that the State Sanitary Inspectorate had received 27 reports from December 2020, 1950, when vaccination began.
1635 reactions were classified as mild, manifested by redness and short-term soreness at the injection site.
An adverse reaction to vaccination is a deterioration in health within a certain period of time after injection. Reactions can be mild, severe or severe.
