Doxepin Teva is an antidepressant preparation that belongs to the group of tricyclic antidepressants.
Composition

Indications
The preparation is indicated in the treatment of depression, psychosis and psychotic disorders caused by the consumption of alcohol or drugs, which cause various depressive, hallucinatory and manic states. Doxepin Teva is used in the treatment of depression, psychoses, bipolar disorder, Korsakoff’s syndrome and phobias resulting from the consumption of psychoactive substances.
Action
The action is described in detail in the leaflet attached to the medicine. Doxepine inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine, thanks to which it has an antidepressant effect. It does not intensify the psychomotor drive. It also has antihistaminic and α1-blocking effects. When served in the evening hours, it helps to fall asleep. Doxepin Teva calms down, calms down, regulates the level of norepinephrine and cortisol in the blood, which is a counterbalance to mania and obsessions, which are a consequence of various mental diseases and disorders. This also reduces the need for alcohol and psychostimulants, the purpose of which (only seemingly) was to fight hallucinations. When taking Doxepin Teva, the patient no longer needs them, as he becomes naturally silent and the problems of vision, hallucinations and anxiety associated with them disappear. Balance is restored in the body. In the opinion of users, Doxepin Teva brings relief after two days from the moment of taking it for the first time.
Contraindications
Contraindications to the use of the preparation are severe liver diseases, breastfeeding, glaucoma, urinary retention tendency, use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) in parallel or during the last 14 days. The preparation cannot be used if there is an allergy to any component of the preparation or other tricyclic antidepressants.
Dosage
The usual dose is 30-300 mg / day; doses up to 100 mg / day can be administered once a day or in divided doses, doses above 1 mg / day should be administered in 100 divided doses. The maximum single dose is 3 mg and is usually given at bedtime. In people with moderate to severe disease, initially usually 100 mg / day.
