Don’t touch it with your hands: what happens if you pick out a wart, mole or herpes

All this threatens with unpleasant consequences. Therefore, we propose to deal with each neoplasm separately.

Wart Is a benign skin formation. She owes her appearance on the body to the human papillomavirus. Anyone can develop a wart, regardless of gender and age.

Such formations differ in form and methods of elimination. Ordinary or vulgar warts more often appear on the skin of children – preschoolers and junior schoolchildren, choosing the area of the hands (palms and fingers) or the face. They are round in shape, about the size of the head of a pin. They often “cluster” in bulk, and among them there is always a maternal one. It is believed that if you remove it, then the rest will disappear by themselves. But this is a myth!

Flat warts they also love youthful skin and usually appear in young people between the ages of 10 and 25. These rashes have a smooth flesh-colored surface. Still meet plantar warts и senile.

Usually, carriers of all these rashes try to get rid of them on their own, resorting to folk remedies, the most popular method is the milky juice of celandine, which is released on the cut of the plant. Or a conspiracy with rubbing the wart with potatoes, and then tying and burying the root crop in the ground; There is a popular belief that as soon as the potatoes rot in the soil, the warts will disappear. For some it passes, for others it does not.

The surest way to get rid of even an old wart – This is a method of electrocautery, which is the impact on the wart with an electric current at a high temperature.

Mole appears on the skin due to the excessive growth of melanocytes, or pigment cells. A mole, alas, can be both benign and malignant, and only a doctor can determine this.

Among the reasons for the appearance of new moles – light skin, genetic factors, exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Common moles, as a rule, occur at birth or during childhood and have a round, symmetrical shape with clear edges. Irregular edges without a clear border are characteristic of atypical representatives, the color of which ranges from pink to dark brown. There is also a rare type of mole “nevus spitz” and birthmarks.

Experts unanimously argue that treatment of moles at home is impossible… But we cannot be stopped where we are without traditional medicine; some burn them with vinegar, others rub the juice of a large and ripe apple or potato.

Herpes, or cold sore lips Is a common viral infection that looks like a collection of tiny, clear fluid-filled vesicles on the red border of the lips and nearby skin.

The course of the disease usually lasts about 14 days: first, bubbles form, then they burst, and a crust forms in their place, then gradual healing occurs.

Treat herpes better with the help of antiviral drugs, applying them to the site of inflammation according to the instructions. And also use preventive measures to avoid re-rash:

  • if the exacerbation is provoked by sunlight, then use sunscreen on the lips;

  • avoid contact with other people’s personal hygiene items;

  • wash your hands more often.

What happens if you pick out a wart, herpes or a mole on your own, says dermatovenerologist Tatyana Koroleva.

Picking up warts does not make sense, since they are viral in nature. With multiple rashes, in addition to the local use of antiviral drugs, systemic ones are used.

What will happen if you “pick”? An infection can be brought in, which will lead to a local inflammatory process and even sepsis.

Also, do not try to remove a mole or herpes yourself!

Any method of self-healing is folk art.

And such an intervention may well provoke a degeneration into malignant neoplasms. Important: any skin rash should see a doctor.
