Bright lips, a flawlessly even complexion, blush and long eyelashes are the details that will make you a real doll.
Doll makeup: who is it for
Delicate and naive doll makeup is perfect for girls with big eyes, small mouths and a childish expression. Such makeup will look especially harmonious on blondes, light brown-haired and red-haired women. Do not get carried away with dark colors and contrasting combinations, the charm of the doll image lies in the play of halftones and the use of pastel shades.
Skin like a doll: creating a base for makeup
For proper makeup, you will need:
- leveling base
- Foundation
- corrector
- translucent powder
- pink blush
- white waterproof pencil
- light eyeshadow
- lengthening mascara
- cream lipstick
For your makeup to look truly stylish, your skin needs to be smooth, glowing and soft. To create this effect, you will need a lilac or pinkish leveling base, it will give the face a porcelain smoothness and will not allow the foundation to fall into the pores. Using your fingertips, apply foundation all over your face, it will be absorbed in a minute.
If your skin is not smooth enough, you can treat it with a mild scrub or exfoliating lotion before makeup.
Retouch problem areas with a dense corrector. It helps to hide pimples, acne marks, bruises and puffiness under the eyes. Drive in the concealer with your fingertips until it blends into the skin.
Apply a liquid foundation with reflective particles all over your face – it will leave the skin perfectly smooth and glowing. Blend the cream thoroughly, not forgetting the area of the temples, chin and forehead. The color of the foundation should match your skin tone or be slightly lighter. A foundation that is too dark is not suitable for delicate doll makeup. Powder your face with a loose, translucent powder, it will fix the makeup and give the skin a matte finish.
An important detail of doll makeup is a delicate pink blush. Opt for a powdery blush as it looks the most natural. Apply them to the bulging parts of your cheeks. Do not apply blush under the cheekbones, for a chrysalis look you need a soft, rounded face.
Eyes and lips: completing the puppet look
Highlight the eyes with pastel shadows. On the upper lids, apply a delicate shade of mint, champagne or pearl gray. Choose creamy or powdery products with a satin texture. Highlight the mucous membrane with a white waterproof pencil, it visually enlarges the eyes and refreshes the look.
Thoroughly paint your lashes with lengthening and curling black or chocolate mascara. Paint on both the upper and lower lashes, brushing the hairs with a brush to avoid clumps.
Before coloring, the eyelashes can be curled with special tongs.
Apply creamy lipstick in a soft pink, pinkish red or warm coral shade to your lips. Avoid dark matte lipsticks and translucent gloss; they are not suitable for a doll-like look.
