The company’s assortment includes more than a dozen types of Italian-style sparkling wines. Champagne of the brand is characterized by low strength and low degree of carbonation.

Historical information

Chkalovsky winery has been operating since 1967. In Soviet times, the range of products was large, wines in three-liter jars were especially popular with buyers. With the start of the anti-alcohol campaign in 1985, the plant switched to the production of mineral water and lemonade. In 1993, the state enterprise was transformed into a joint-stock company, and the production of alcohol resumed.

In 2006, the management of Balsam OJSC decided to start the production of sparkling wines, and two years later the first bottle of champagne rolled off the production lines. Wine materials are supplied by large agricultural firms of the Krasnodar, Stavropol Territories and the Rostov Region.

Fermentation takes place in steel acratophore tanks with a volume of 50 thousand liters and takes 21 days. The production is equipped with high-tech equipment and is fully automated, all processes are controlled by operators using computers. Every hour, 6 bottles of products come off the bottling lines.

Champagne “Dolce Vita” is called a wine cocktail, as natural flavors are added to the wine material to give different tastes. The production technology is the same as that of conventional varieties. The difference is in the small strength of the drink, it is only 6 degrees. The product is addressed primarily to the youth audience. Separate issues in a bright design come out on the eve of the New Year holidays.

Interesting Facts

  1. The fashion for low-alcohol wine cocktails came to Europe from Italy. According to one version, the drink was invented by Austrian soldiers who mixed ordinary wine with sparkling water.
