Who knows how to enjoy life in any weather!
A city dweller tired of traffic jams, seeing the snow outside the window, is likely to be upset: there will be even more traffic jams, slippery, wet, slushy. Some troubles from this snow. But the children are happy: they have not yet learned to wake up in the morning with the mood to grumble all day. But dogs are most happy about the snow – even more than children.
There are, of course, breeds that cannot stand the winter: they are very cold. However, most Russian pets treat snow and frost with obvious sympathy. And not Russian either – just look at these conquerors of snowy expanses.
Glad to the snow and those who are not tall enough to storm the snowdrifts. Such dogs become like rabbits: they diligently jump in the tracks of the owner, to the delight of others; it looks very funny. And for a pet – a good cardio load, it will sleep without hind legs.
According to experts, small decorative dogs tolerate the cold worse than others.
“These little dogs with trembling legs seem to be forever frightened. However, a brave lion hides inside each such dog. Their shivering is often a reaction to cool air. Crumbs-dogs begin to freeze even before the onset of real frosts. And all because of the small muscle mass, small size and weak or completely absent undercoat. When walking in cold weather, they will need warm clothes, ”the dog handlers explain.
But little Spitz is an exception. With their thick and warm coat, there is nothing to be afraid of. Well, almost nothing – except for deep snowdrifts.
And large dogs, especially huskies, malamutes and samoyeds, are frankly happy in winter – this is written on their happy pugs. See for yourself!
